I ate here every day when I was in the area. I loved the food and the portions/prices are great. The staff was also so friendly!

When I was a young teen 2 decades ago, living on allowances, this was the spot I hit up. I think at the time the combo was like $2.50 or something and I’ve never seen a line there. I use to go strictly for curry chicken with white rice. It was never the best curry, but it hits the spot on a tight budget. Today, I had an urge to pick up some pork bao to eat omw home, so I stoped by Chinatown to hit up bao bao bakery. At the corner of my eyes, I peeped Ding Ho and nostalgia rushed into my bones. As I approach the dinged up spot waiting in line outside the restaurant, I can’t help but wonder how much more expensive would it be now versus 20 years ago, considering inflation. My goodness… $6 for 2 side combo. WHAAAT? 2024. And it’s $6. I ended up with two sides of protein, 3 spring rolls and 1 Peking ravioli…. THATS $9.50. Hands down the best place to go in this economy. I don’t even care about the flavor. I got seasoning at home that can fix it up.(I ate a spring roll omw home)

Amazing Chinese food. The dumplings were the best I've had outside China and the fried rice, chicken curry and chicken with ginger were lovely.Cash only and incredible to have all this for around $10.

I recently tried the quick take-out Chinese food spot, and it's a hidden gem for cheap eats. The braised pork belly is a standout, boasting rich flavors and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. The egg rolls are a delightful addition, crispy on the outside and filled with a tasty blend of ingredients. This place offers a satisfying and budget-friendly option for those craving delicious Chinese cuisine on the go.

Fantastic food and incredible portions for prices that were stable and affordable since before I was born. It's an instutution and a treasure, a monument to old-school classic takeout and everything you've ever loved about it.

Cash only take out hole-in-the-wall Chinese place. Everything is great and generous portions for the price. Always try to leave a small tip to help keep this small business open. Workers are very friendly.Got the singapore noodles with chicken and dumplings for $8 - great lunch for me and a friend

Recommended by a friend while doing a simple, cheap lunch take out in Chinatown. Service in the small little take out joint is very quick and they specialize in combo meals: a small box with 1 side and a large box with 2 sides ($6). Both come with either a base of lo mein, Singapore rice noodles, fried rice, etc.For a flat $4, I got the small combo of Singapore rice noodles and curry chicken w/ potato and carrots. My friend got the lo mein, curry chicken, and tofu for $6. For the price, we can't complain much about the flavor, but we were surprised chicken curry was pretty well seasoned than what we expected (there was also slices of ginger in the curry, a good sign the cooking effort is there). The lady also packed my small styrofoam tray with chicken to the brim and it barely closed, so def a bang for your buck!

Best value for money at Chinatown. Be sure to get it during the lunch rush when it'll be fresh. Great

At this price, I can’t ask for more… It’s in Boston Chinatown and the big box I had was $8… Mountain high fried rice noodles, tofu with oyster sauce, braised pork belly. Were it not braised pork but curry chicken or chicken with oyster sauce that’d be $6… Other restaurants should be ashamed.

The food itself is totally serviceable. Not bad, not amazing. However, there are a good amount of options to choose from. You come here for the price: $6 for a large tray including one “grain” (noodles, fried rice etc) and two “sides” (chicken, tofu, broccoli etc). This is a VERY generous $6 portion. For me, it’s enough for one dinner or two lunches. You can get a smaller, lunch-sized tray (one side only) for $4. Cash only! Be sure to leave a tip whenever you come to keep this hard-working staple open.
