Great little spot with a big variety from classics to fusion. Don't forget the drinks and awesome desserts, save room!

The food is phenomenal. Don't come expecting traditional Chinese food and open your mind to Hong Kong fusion. The Chinwich sandwich with char siu is delectable, the Hong Kong hot chicken sandwich is one of the very best in Boston. The cocktails are curated, tasty, and go down easily.
The menu is expansive but not expensive. There are tons of different types of dishes (too many to name) and everything is pretty darn good. This has become a go-to destination in Chinatown for manyband featured on the Travel Channel for good reason!

First of all they have a separate vegan menu. Just ask for it! Portions were huge. Service was okay. Taste and freshness also alrighty
Went with a couple (3) friend for lunch last Tuesday. Server was polite and but wasn’t too attentive. We ordered two scorpion bowls which one of them was supposed to come in a watermelon but since it was really hot the server said all the watermelons were bad. She didn’t offer a discount and didn’t mention anything until I asked her. My beer was warm. Also, both scorpion bowls had almost no liquor in them and were very expensive . The bill came to around 280 and We each ordered one food item, which was like 20 each for an app. We still tipped 23% and as we were leaving an employee that didn’t even acknowledge us while we were there came running out or to give us some sweets. Apparently they felt bad that we tipped well after charging us arm and leg for a mid experience.
Salt and pepper wings were excellent everything else was mid and overpriced.
Don’t recommend.
Also ac is very bad in there
I came to Double Chin since walking by it looked decent, but it was a big disappointment. Service was very slow, there were bugs flying around, and the food tasted bland and oily. For such high prices, I expected way better. Definitely not coming back.

Double Chin is such a reliable place, one of the only late-night consistent spots on the area with fun drinks and pretty good food!
The fish tank cocktail was very yummy, though a little smaller than expected, but the novelty is worth it! They have a lot of options which are kinda hit or miss, but the appetizers like the Kimchi Fries are always a hit, good place to hit up before or after going out!
Went for shaved ice. It was good. Not easy to find Matcha or shaved ice in general with mochi! I wish there was bit more Red bean paste though. Cute little place. It was hard to get attention from the server, had to walk up or wave a few times.

Very fresh, not salty. Unique dishes.

Uber eats order.
The stir fried ramen was pretty unseasoned. It probably would have been better if the cook just used the seasoning packet from the ramen itself.
Pork dumpling filling was also under seasoned. The dumpling skin was way too thick
Chili popcorn chicken was cooked for way too long. The chicken has the same texture as the fried breading. Any self respecting cook would not have let this dish out of the kitchen

Was excited to try this place, walked in and immediately lost my appetite. Smelled so musty, moldy and stale. Walked right back out.

Overpriced, bad service, mediocre food.
Paid $26 dollars for 4 pieces of ribs. Was expecting much more for that price. Asked politely for an additional bowl of rice twice and did not receive it. Only when my friend that knew the staff asked for the rice is when I got it. But by then everyone else was about finished with their meal. Lastly, their fusion food is a hit or miss, seems to mostly cater towards garnering trendy social media pictures rather than actually creating consistent good food. The only highlight, is this place is open late. If you're looking for value, or basic service, look elsewhere.

Very creative menu. I love the traditional tea cafe food. The best dish they serve is the baked pork chop rice. It is the best version in Boston and is not even close. The price has gone up significantly, which is probably true for everything else. So, this dish is very expensive but I think it is worth the money. When I visit Double Chin, this is the only thing I order now.

I love that they have really unique Asian fusion dishes here! They have a really fun drink menu too. We got the lobster rangoons, sesame chicken app and I got the Hong Kong Chicken Sandwich for my entree. The food was fresh, unique, and had a great flavor. The presentation was cute with Ramen noodle cups for one of the other entrees and a seashell dish for one of the apps. Everything came out so quickly right on top of each other. I'd say the timing might need some work. We ordered the white sangria and it came out after we already finished our apps and entrees and other people had gotten their drinks at the start. The food came out too quickly was almost 2 minutes after the apps came out. Server was efficient and helpful. There's a cafe vibe here and a Chinese new year decorated swing bench great to take photos with. This restaurant is super convenient if you're seeing a show at the Emerson Colonial theater after. I also liked the house music played here and that theyre open so late a night.
Great spot!
