This neighborhood gem is always worth a visit, but the reason I’m reviewing after years of regular visits is the welcoming, compassionate nature of owners Liz and Jen. Today, during a packed house viewing of a USWNT game, Liz made sure to welcome every customer and search for free seats for them. I overheard several parties comment on how kind they thought this was, AND how much they enjoyed their beers. I, of course, wholeheartedly agree! Please come support this small, woman-owned, LGBT-owned local business!
Great beers and space. Gracious to us when we were pushing it around their close!
Great owners and service and a uniquely fun selection of beers. When I came in during the Knicks playoffs they switched the game to the big TV since no one else was around which was very nice. But I also went for the Liberty playoffs – there was a fun crowd, not too rowdy but definitely not boring either.
Amazing local business!
I loved the vibe, the beers, and the friendly staff!!
We love Drawdown! It’s a great (inclusive+safe) community bar that’s walking distance from home. I have loved trying all the different beers, sodas, and the crispy seltzer. There are a solid set of core beers and then fun seasonal beers on rotation (some of the fall beers have been So It Goes - a cozy cinnamon beer and White Girl Wasted a pumpkin ale). I personally loved the orange soda when it was on tap (it gave aperol spritz vibes), but the root beer is also delicious. The staff are all super welcoming and friendly, and there’s an awesome calendar of events (chaotic good bingo nights and retro video game nights as examples). Drawdown highlights women’s sports, but is also a place to catch international soccer games or Ru Paul’s Drag race. Would recommend as a place to stop by if you’re passing through, want to catch a specific game, or if you want to find that neighborhood bar where you’ll feel known.
Great beers
I love this place, here almost every day they are open! The seasonal Johnny Two Jobs is the best.
These folks are doing amazing things with beer!
The beer list is simple and ever changing so there's something new to try without saying goodbye to your favorites. Hands-on, visible owners happy to answer questions about the beer and get to know the customers. An amazing neighborhood-feeling spot! A personal fave in JP.

What a great neighborhood brewery spot! Friendly staff and great offerings, I'll definitely be back (go Fleet!)
If you are looking for to watch a Boston Fleet game when they are away Drawdown Brewing hosts a watch party for the Boston Fleet
Great selection of beers! Downside parking and no onsite food options. To be fair they have cheese nips and chips but it’s not a daycare. Highly recommend you partner with a food truck or offer basic appetizer - the foot traffic will pickup. Plus you can’t safely serve beer without food unless you’re okay with the customer just having 1-2 beers tops. We attempted to order from a “local” place from the stack of menu they had but not knowing the area we selected it from a location that was 20 minutes away on foot. We were there for the NCAA women’s basketball tournament and the bartender even acknowledged the crowd was much less than the previous year. Food is the missing ingredient to making this a go to hangout. (And a few more chairs/barstools)
Great place for beer and good energy!
A great spot for fabulous beer and great vibes. Women NCAA was on and the beer was flowing! Tasted nearly everything on the menu, not a bad beer up there. The owner was so kind and clearly has passion for beer! Overall, great a women focused sports bar. Will be back!
