Connor is THE bartender. Personality, service, and such a quality guy. This is the place to go in Boston……period. 😀

Racist. Went with a friend who is a very successful businessman who happens to be a person of color. Walked in to grab a drink and we were told it was at capacity by the bartender on 11/14/24. Total lie as it wasn’t even half full. Walked out in disbelief and then watched two other groups of people walk in and not leave. Explain that. No we were not drunk or rude.

I went into this establishment at a reasonable hour on a Friday night and walked in and sat at one of the many empty barstools. They told me they were at capacity and told me to leave. I will never come back and suggest you look elsewhere.

A small dive bar, popular with fire fighters across the country, very Boston. A live Irish guitar player was very fun, and loud. Loved it, hope to be back.

They expect foreigners to have their passports on them in order to have a drink. Expecting foreigners to travel with the most important document they own on a night out drinking is WILD.

Judging by the other reviews it seems they just hate tourists. Other places in the city don't require passports so there is no excuse.

Will turn you away and then serve a local. Granted we showed up near closing time for a quick night cap (and I mean a quick nightcap). We were turned away, and then witnessed several people at the bar served immediately after. We thought, huh, maybe it was just that guy? Nope. We lingered for a total of maybe 4 minutes before we were asked to leave. We were sober and willing to pay. Maybe we don’t look like their clientele, but I’m okay with that. Terrible customer service.

No prices on display. Barman charged $11 for a Guinness - in a dive bar! Do not go here!!! Attention owners - I think this went in the barman's pocket - you may want to audit. Shameful

One of the most expensive bars I have ever been to. And I live in NYC. Fine staff, BLN.

We tried this place while in town. This is a dive bar for sure and they claim nothing more. We sat at the bar and were greeted right away by Conner who got our drink orders. Very much like a local dive bar and had a few locals in there. Lot of tourist also show up. Very loud in such a small area, but very nice and cannot wait to return. Enjoyed the patches from all over the country and the world. Very nice collection.

Parking: Very limited street parking.
