Was extremely disappointed with Earl's last night. Made reservations to experience their Winter Wonderland on their patio. Upon arrival, we were informed they had a buy-out event and could not honor the reservation. We were offered a spot in the lounge area on the first floor. We accepted because we didn't have alternate plans. Once we engaged with the server after another 10 mins, he informed us that we could only be there for 15 mins due to the event. This could have been avoided if Earls just reached out and cancelled the reservation ahead of time. Also, at no time did anyone in management speak to us and just left it to the staff to shrug and appologize. We have been to Earls multiple times and enjoyed it but this experience left us questioning if we will ever go again.
Earls is and always will be a family favorite! Anytime we come to Boston we always end up there and they never disappoint!
We definitely enjoyed ourselves! The food and drinks were tasty. We loved our server Dibora, she's the best ! She always makes us feel right at home. Overall a really great experience !
Loved the NY vibe. Server was great, though they did not seat us for 15 minutes beyond reservation. And table was next to frigid outdoor patio, with door opening frequently. Crispy rice Salmon was excellent, oysters not so much. Tuna poke bowl yummy.
We had a good experience at this restaurant and for the most part the food was good. The decor during the holidays is nice. The person assigned to our table never showed so I guess they assigned someone else. We sat there for over 15 minutes with no server. For food, two of us had steak and sushi. I would be careful if you're not into Ponzu sauce. It overpowers the taste of the steak. The sushi rolls were pretty average. My daughter had the pasta with the chorizo sausage and that was excellent. My son had a Hamburger and he liked it very much. The one thing I didn't like about this place is they calculate the tip based on the total bill including taxes. I almost changed how much I was going to tip because 20% on top of the total amount is far more than 20% on the cost of the meal and drinks. Whoever programmed their system didn't do it correctly or set it up so that the servers get paid more than 20% no matter what. ordinary,
First time at Earls and it was great. Menu had lots of appealing choices, our server was funny, gracious and very good. The atmosphere was lively and I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Our food came right on time and was delicious.
Very nice resturant. Table for two and the wait wasn't too long to be seated. Already made prior reservations and had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. When seated, waited about 3 minutes for a sever and great server ( Lina)!!! Food did take a tad bit long to come out, about 20 minutes, but it all arrived at the same time. The birria tacos were a tad bit cold. Everything else was great.
How could you have a bad night at Earl's with a welcome glass of champagne, not to mention a tasting of wine to decide on our choice. We were a party of three on our way to Handel's Messiah at Symphony Hall. Our choice of food was eclectic but very good. The shared appetizer was Szechuan Shrimp + Pork Dumplings, which we highly recommend. Originally thought to be spicy, they weren't, but they were quite delicious. The entrees were the Deluxe Burger with Truffle fries, Oven Roasted Atlantic Salmon, and Korean Beef Bibimbap. All were very satisfied with their choice. The burger was a hit as was the salmon selection. The Korean Beef Bibimbap was spicier than expected without the kimchee, but very tasty. Half-way through the meal the burger and Bibimbap were shared and the Korean beef was also much enjoyed by all. The pièce de résistance was our server, Dibora. she excelled in serving and attending to all questions, requests, and conversation. The special treat was that we knew a person in common. It is indeed a small world! Hearty thanks to all the extremely attentive staff at Earl's!
Danissa made excellent recommendations for drinks and dinner — I took her up on both and had a great time!

Food was great as was the service from Danissa. Food was out quickly and served hot and Danissa was very attentive and consistently checked up on us to see if anything further was needed.

I was looking for somewhere to come for dinner alone while I was on business and this was perfect. I loved the menu. Danissa was super helpful and lovely to me since I was on my own. I chose the salmon and it was delicious. It’s a great atmosphere and I will definitely come back.

Good restaurant, but unfortunately they barely have gluten free options (and for the options with no gluten, you still have the risk of cross contamination) 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

We stopped here to get dinner on a Monday night and it was still pretty busy, but Ava was very attentive and we had a lovely time. The food was great and she made wonderful recommendations on drinks.
