From outside the restaurant seems anonymous, but the wooden interior and design a bit retro provide a great vibe.
Very good food, the butterscotch bread pudding is absolutely delicious.
Great food and drink and service.

Food comes quick, but is mediocre and forgettable. The accompanying mashed potatoes and sourdough bread were the best part, rather than the main courses themselves. We got the short rib and mafaldine and they were both just ok. The mafaldine has a strong gamey taste from the lamb but there’s only a few tiny pieces of meat in it.
It’s on the loud side but you can still hear your dining partner. Tables have reasonable space between them and the space is clean.
Was just ok. Nothing really stood out. Had the chicken and waffles, chicken was an odd color and tasted weird. Won’t be going back

Fabulous. Maybe better than ever? Food was perfect. Service wonderful. Wine list is smart and well curated. Second time in 10 days. I think this is my new ‘must do’.

The food was good and the restaurant has a energy to it. Its a pricey restaurant and while the service was ok the waitstaff was not well trained in their demeanor or how to approach a table in conversation.

Great space, excellent service. We used to go to Eastern Standard when they were located in Kenmore Square and it was an institution and even though it was my first time since it opened, we can see ourselves coming back for a good French cuisine.
We got the monk bouillabaisse, steak frite and salmon as well as ceaser salad and buratta as an appetizer. We also had the non alcoholic drinks which are highly recommended.
Overall tasted delicious but it was also very salty.
We plan to be back.

The old ES is back.
It's not as cozy as the original location in Kenmore, however, it has great food and excellent service staff.
The best part, the bar is awesome and they have their usual eclectic cocktails.

Loved this place. Cocktails and service were top notch. The Jack Rose, Old Cuban, Whiskey Smash, Sazerac, and Spagett Drink were enjoyed by everyone. We did not have any food here, but I wish we had!
