Was expecting more for the way the restaurant and previous reviews presented. Good but not stellar.
Even with a reservation I still had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Food was just okay. Main dining area is extremely noisy and tables are sat too close together - felt like I was also on the dates at both tables next to me. Not likely to return but was a convenient location for MGM Music Hall
Loved the food, atmosphere and service that Michaela provided to us. Perfect spot before the John Legend concert at MGM Boston
Eastern Standard offered a great experience for our group of 6. Our server was attentive and checked in regularly. Our food was delicious, and we definitely enjoyed maybe a few too many drinks. The ambiance leans classical with classy dim lighting and white tablecloths. If you want something a touch more modern, it may not be your cup of tea. I had the pork chop and the Nixta Sotol, and I would recommend them. Our group also shared some oysters, which were good.
What can I say that hasn't already been said about ESK? This place hits all the marks starting with Service. The crew there is top notch - helpful, friendly, knowledgeable with a customer-centric model. We attended one of their Pop-ups, where they have new chefs bringing exciting food flavors & experiences from around the globe. They couple that with in-house specialty cocktails to compliment the food. Incredible all around.
Always amazing meal and service here, from the way they treat you at the door to the cocktails, food, and friendliness/attentiveness of the servers. We weren't overly hungry last night, so we had salads and the most amazing French onion soup in recent memory. Just gooey, warm, caramelized, decadent goodness -- perfect for a raw fall night. They have the hospitality formula down here, and happen to become a regular, which we are, they have a knack for knowing you by name, remembering what your go-to drinks are, and doing all the little things to make you feel special as a customer. Just a great place to keep coming back to.
Nice atmosphere, quiet enough to have a conversation. Food was great, came out quite quickly. Portions were generous. It was strange our server did not tell us about specials that included a lamb dish not on the menu. Over all fantastic experience.

There was no wait when I arrived, and I was seated right away in a small, comfortable booth that was really comfortable. The food was decent and the service really stood out. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the overall atmosphere feel warm and welcoming. It's the kind of place that works well for a casual dinner with friends or family, but it also feels cozy enough for a quiet night to yourself.

I dined at Eastern Standard last weekend and had a fantastic time. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, especially the hosts and our server, Lily. The restaurant was clean, and had a cozy atmosphere. I was with my younger brothers, aged 10 and 11, and they were given crayons and activity sheets, as well as the opportunity to draw on the paper covering the table, which kept them entertained all evening. As starters we had the bone marrow and oysters. The bone marrow was ridiculously rich and delicious, and the oysters were very fresh. The special on Friday was lobster gnocchi, which I ordered. The sauce was super creamy, the pasta was pillowy soft and the lobster was great. However the highlight of the meal were the desserts. We had pear sorbet, a brownie topped with praline ice cream and caramel, crème brûlée and our server Lily was kind enough to send us the bread pudding on the house. Every dessert was uniquely delicious, and the brownie was LIFE CHANGING. This was a great experience all around and my family and I will definitely be coming back.

Not like the old Eastern Standard. I enjoyed the appetizers (artichoke and salt cod fritters) but did not enjoy the NY Strip - medium well instead of medium rare and steak flavor hidden by the butter. Our party enjoyed the salmon and steak frites. Desserts had huge portions and made for sharing. They were very good. Service was inexperienced. Advice about wine from manager was spot on and appreciated. Atmosphere indoors was pleasant.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Great start to a Sox-Yankees game. Very accessible to Fenway Park, the T and the commuter rail station.
Absolutely not what it used to be! Food was mediocre. Mouse ran across the floor during dinner. Service was fine, atmosphere fine. It used to be stellar. Not to much anymore.

Great place in the city to stop for a good meal with great service. Best part is the must visit Equal Measure located in the back for incredible mixed drinks and ambiance.
