Eastern Standard Kitchen and Drinks

Eastern Standard as always was great. Everyone from Sophie to Jackson to Garrett and our wonderful wait staff makes us feel at home everytime that we visit. We love the steak frites, chicken, tartare and cocktails. We always feel at home at Eastern Standard.

We dined here for Valentine's Day! Our server was excellent. Very knowledgeable and provided great food and drink recommendations. I ordered the grilled bavette steak frites medium rare, and they came out rare, practically blue. So that's why I removed a star. Otherwise, the ambience was great. We arrived at the start of the dinner shift so it wasn't too noisy.

We went for. Pre Valentines Day dinner. The food was very good. Loved the bread, butter and picked that came out first. We shared the cod fritters and enjoyed them. I had the NY Strip and my husband had the burger. Tasty. Large portions. The steak was a tad chewy. Two complaints ....the noise level is insane. Of course we were the only gray haired people in sight, so maybe that's us. We couldn't hear each other but enjoyed watching all the cute young couples on their somewhat awkward Valentines Day dates. Other complaint , you need to be more specific on the website about the fact that the entrance is not on Beacon Street.

The food and service was excellent. Our waitress was especially amazing. I can't wait to go again.

I had asked for a quieter table. We sat against the wall which was perfect. Although it was noisy it was great not having more noise behind me. Our waitress was phenomenal and just got us. She was fun and joining in our fun. Thanks for a nice evening.

FANTASTIC! Best meal I've had in awhile. Can't wait to visit all the sister restaurants. Do not skip the bread pudding!!

Very good food. Service is very intermittent. Drinks can take forever. Orders sometimes forgotten. stuff showing up at different times. Could be so much better w a few minor adjustments

Food was wonderful. The Mussels and Salmon Pate where surprisingly delicious!. Branzini special was lovely. No room for dessert! I can't recall our servers name but he was really super nice and attentive . This is one of our go to restaurants for special occasions. Two of us are retired fine dining Chefs so we have high standards. Never disappointed.

EXCELLENT food as always......a little noisy but that was because there was a lively table nearby. Favorite place for both lunch and dinner....

Chose ES for proximity to MGM Music Hall, food quality & service was good. Would visit again when in the area.

The salad Nicoise was excellent, tuna was fresh with a delicious rub, the inclusion of olives was tasty.

Limited menu for gluten-free and vegetarian options, no gluten-free pasta, and their gluten-free bread was toasted on only one side. The non-gluten-free party members enjoyed their meals.

you were a lifesaver for staying open Monday, after the storm! We were able to host a business dinner with guests from the west coast as a result. Thank you!

A fantastic experience at Eastern Standard! The atmosphere is modern and cozy, the service is excellent, and the food is very delicious. Definitely a place worth visiting.

One of the best restaurants in Boston! Lovely lively atmosphere but tables are spaced out to make enjoyable, top shelf service, and excellent food. Fabulous selection of entrees, really good cocktails. One couldn't ask for more. They also do gluten free really well!
