As it is with Burlington MA and Englewood, CO locations, the food was impeccable. The sashimi was like butter and we had the Branzino and Baked Stuffed Shrimp- both were delicious. My one issue and biggest pet peeve is assuming my husband was paying when returning my credit card and putting it in front of him - look at the name and don't assume.

I dined here for a birthday outing. The cedar plank sixty south salmon was delicious. The Caesar salad was very fresh. The creme brulee was also delicious. I ordered two drinks the blue berry mojito and rose punch. The rose punch was my favorite of the two. The service was very nice. We went on a Tuesday night so it wasn't busy at all which allowed for a quiet evening. We had a single window facing table as well which made for a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend. Eddie Merlot lives up to the hype indeed.

Very upscale restaurant with a variety of dishes. Quite expensive, but I was able to get a small filet with crab meat and grilled shrimp with a salad for $42. Our waiter was so kind and attentive.

Went for Easter brunch, everything was well coordinated from buffet set up, food and service. The manager was greeting all tables making them feel like family.

My husband and I had our tenth anniversary dinner here.Overall, the food was a definite win, but there were other areas that definitely needed improvement. We were seated at a table next to the manager who was on their phone watching videos, and interacting with the staff. I found it strange that the manager was sitting out in the open with guests around and eating food and drinking wine.He didn't seem that welcoming and friendly and from my experience at higher end restaurants is that managers will come out and ask patrons if everything was going ok.Service seemed to be lacking and I think the managers presence made the staff nervous. Little mistakes were being made like not being brought bread, having to ask twice for a dessert menu, and overall just a weird vibe in the restaurant.I have to give kudos to the kitchen for totally blowing it out of the park with the food. It was honestly the best meal I've had in a while. My steak was done to perfection and the Peanut butter cup that was made for our dessert was amazing.I just wish the service and vibe was better.

In honor of Dine Out Boston, I had to experience Eddie Merlot's. The food, service, and atmosphere was exactly what I needed on a Monday evening. The Filet mignon was yummy. But, the creme brulee stole my heart. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

Perfect fine, very reasonably priced steakhouse here in Boston. I was a little disappointed to not see any local options on the menu given that Boston is known as a seafood town. I had the Mojo Scallops &!Shrimp and it was cooked well and had a lot of flavor. Steaks that colleagues ordered looked good and were said to be good. The peanut butter cup dessert was not particularly sweet. Service was very good, of the stealthy and non-obtrusive variety which was perfect for our business meeting; thanks Koa! Ambience was very normal for a steakhouse, though the seats were shockingly rigid and upright in a way that felt downright unpleasant, like I was sitting in a church pew that had some padding. Maybe I have just been to a few too many high end steakhouses recently, but this place was good but nothing jumped off the menu at me as "you must try this!" or really blew my mind, but it was still really good for the category and did everything right. Sonny did an amazing job! Food was good but could've been better. I am giving the five stars for the waiter, Sonny's amazing job!

... perfect late night meal! I sat at the bar, and I had a salad and the oyster rocker fella. Both were delicious!!! The oysters were perfectly seasoned/prepared and delivered hot and fresh. The salad was chilled, fresh and crispy. I also had the Blueberry Mojito... it was perfect, not too sweet, with just the right amount of alcohol (... not stingy). The bartender (Davion???) was friendly, pleasant and professional! Again, my drink was perfectly prepared, and my order (w/several special requests) was delivered exactly as ordered! I am a diner with high expectations when spending my hard-earned dollars... Eddie Merlot's exceeded my high standards, and I WILL return whenever in Boston!

Last Friday evening, I was at the bar. NoKoa was the bartender, recommended the Trio of Medallions, he was very attentive and had a wonderful personality. Everything was great, I’ll be back.

Went here for new years and what a mistake. The waiter was unbelievably rude I’ve never experienced anything like it in my life. Was over charged $25 and the manager told me it would be corrected yet it still was not. Tried contacting again only to not be able to reach manager. Just absolutely awful experience. Now I still need to reach out to my bank to get my money back.
