Am I the first person reviewing this place on Yelp in like, what, 7 years? Strange considering Einstein's is pretty heavily trafficked by students at most hours of the day. I've been on a bagel kick lately, and with Pavement closed, Einstein's is the only option in the area. While they do get my order correctly and the bagel itself is toasted decently enough (I've only had the plain bagel, so I can't attest for the other flavors), there is just SO much cream cheese to the point where you're getting more of it than the bagel. Honestly, it's kind of gross and messy. I wish there were ordering options for the amount of cream cheese, but it's primarily done through GrubHub as no one takes your order in-person. I guess that would help mitigate this issue. I know I've been going on and on about a painfully average bagel chain, but I've spend my hard-earned money here. I just wish the product I've paid for was a little better.

It is closed for the summer holidays... We came here following google maps. It is in the basement of the BU college of arts and sciences. People working nearby said it will be closed until after summer holidays.

Hidden gem in the GRS building. Back in Spring 2020 (before covid lockdown) I was teaching in basement of GRA building and discovered this hidden gem right inside the university. I love their bagels and cream cheeses and the vibe there. Recently, they are also using a very seamless system for ordering through your credit card or BU ID that connects to grubhub. Orders are fast. Staff are very helpful. Great vibe for studying. Doesn’t feel like a basement. Highly suggest all BU students to try it. I ordered lox bagel and it was very delicious. The ordering menu allows you to customize the ingredients.

I love the variety of bagels and the variety. The place itself is very chic and chill and is a great place to hang out

Took 30 minutes to get a black coffee

Ordered a beacon avocado tomato egg, but only got beacon and egg. So disappointing and the bagel tastes so plain.

I recommend this location for their bagels, but NEVER buy a gift card for someone who would use this location. They do not take them. Corporate says that because this is a licensed store, they can choose not to....buyer beware for here and ANY location that is licensed on a college campus, airport or mall. They apologized and have only a handful of locations in the USA that will take a gift card.

Great location for students, passers-by, professors and others to grab a drink and a bite to eat for breakfast and/or lunch. The prices are wonderfully convenient.

Amazing bagels and fast service. If you can't settle for the bagels at fast paced, commercial coffee shops, this will definitely hit the spot. The texture and flavor is perfect and they have some classic but also unique choices of cream cheese. Personally, I have not tried any of their sandwiches, but I've only heard good things.

Best bagels... even better than the New York’s famous ones!

I've only ever had coffee at Einstein Bros. Bagels. I normally go there during work. While the coffee is decent, the general atmosphere set by the people working there is cheerful, and at the same time, relaxing. Combine those two together and I'm fully charged and ready to go back to work and be productive again.
