This place is underrated and does not deserve the low ratings it gets. Super nice service and good food that is not your typical Boston Mexican fare.

Been here many times without an issue. Two nights ago left a total of $100 on the bill, saw my credit card statement this morning for $111.30. My mistake for throwing away the receipt this time. Doubt I'll go back.

Came to El Centro for the first time and the service and food was amazing. The food was all extremely fresh and maybe the best Mexican food I've had in Boston. Will definitely be back, Highly recommend!

My fiancé and I visited for his birthday today for some drinks and apps and the service was better than anywhere I’ve ever been. Pedro was amazing and helped us celebrate with delicious drinks and food. 10/10 recommend.

I really enjoyed the vegetable enchiladas - amazing flavors and a full plate! Margaritas don't have the fake flavors that you're used too, either! Very fresh!

My husband and I absolutely love this place!We’re visiting from San Diego, CA so we’re used to really good and authentic Mexican food and this was SO DELICIOUS!Not only was the food amazing, but we were treated like family. The service was outstanding! Pedro is such a friendly guy! My husband and I felt like we’ve known him for forever!We’re planning on moving to Boston in 2025 and we know we’ll be frequenting this spot!

This place could not have left a better first impression. I would have never expected to eat such incredibly delicious and authentic Mexican food at this little hole in the wall in the south end. Service was spot on, and so much bang for your buck (especially the ceviche!!!). Also would highly recommend if vegetarian. My only complaint is that I didn't find this place sooner.

Really great, reminded me more of an NYC style restaurant, smaller, less pretentiousness. Absolutely fantastic tortilla soup, and the tacos were all great. The flautas came out a bit burned. Would be 5 stars otherwise. Very good service.
