There acting funny with portions of food I ask for 2 side of meat there barley want to put meat on the spoon to give me then when I say give me a lil more cause u did not want to put no meat on the spoon the first 2 times he say it's going to be extra can I at least get what I am paying for first lol I remember when you guyz only had one restaurant so don't start acting funny now

I have been searching for authentic Mexican street tacos in Boston for a long time, but sadly this place doesn't really hit the mark. It is more of a Chipotle-style place with build your own burritos and bowls, but honestly the quality was lower than Chipotle. The food isn't bad by any means, but overall I was disappointed. Felipe's in Cambridge is a much better option in my opinion.

I love the food at El Jefe's, I really do. Their burritos are incredible, toppings aren't extra, and I find myself satisfied every time. That said, I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone order carryout unless they are willing to go and thoroughly vet their food. There was a span of four to five months where our orders were not just wrong, but terribly wrong every single time.
