Visited on a busy Saturday night before a concert. Jammed into a table too close to the bar area. One meal was fine (fish and chips), the Guinness beef stew was mostly carrots and celery. 4 small pieces of meat and 3 pieces of potato in a huge bowl that was mostly gravy. The bread served with it to soak up the gravy was so hard and stale it was inedible. Paired with a cocktail and a Guinness, the total with tip was $85. I know it's Boston but geez...

Recommended by a native Irish bartender as the best Irish pub in Boston....he was right! Great food, atmosphere, and service!

As other reviewers have said it is a little loud at times, but did not keep us from having a conversation. The food was comfort style great. The Chicken Pot Pie and the Beef stew were highlights. The wait staff was really friendly and relaxed. They did not rush you at all. Highly reccommend.

The food is great and the staff is wonderful! The noise level is rowdy, at 7pm on a Saturday. If you're ok with that, this is a great place to eat & drink!

We made reservations. We love the place. I've been many times with my husband. This time I took a dear friend of mine. The only upset was when we walked in we saw the window tables were available and I asked for a window table. They told me that they were safe for parties of four more. During our dinner, they put one man there with his computer, he did not work there. Other than that, I love it there and I will continue to go there. I highly recommend their Irish coffees. No one makes them better.

The food was great, the service fabulous. We stayed and enjoyed drinks after dinner and never felt pushed out. We'll be back.

Definitely more for a younger crowd. The noise level with piped in music was so loud we could not hold a conversation . The food was really good though.

A real Boston Irish pub! Not tacos or pasta here like alot of the others. Only pub we go to in Boston.

One of the best Irish Pubs I’ve been to and trust me that’s a lot. The service was great, staff were pleasant, and it was nice to hear the accents from back home.
Great food, and the Irish Coffee was one of the better ones I’ve ever had, loved the brown sugar on top.Need to try that the next time I make my own. Other items on the menu looked great, but the Lobster Roll was on special so we tried that and it didn’t disappoint. The accompanying coleslaw was great.
Will definitely have to make a trip back there before we leave Boston.

Cozy little Irish pub with a warm, welcoming vibe and traditional Irish music playing in the background—it definitely adds to the charm.

The food was solid overall. The chicken curry was delicious and full of flavor, and the fish and chips had a great batter-to-fish ratio—crispy without being too heavy. The kids thought the mac and cheese was just okay, nothing special.

It’s a smaller space, so it can feel a bit tight, but the atmosphere was relaxed and authentic. A good spot if you’re craving classic Irish comfort food in the heart of Boston.

I’m visiting from Texas, and I can honestly say I would come back to Boston just for this pub! The food was absolutely amazing, the drinks were on point, and the atmosphere was perfect. I seriously cannot think of a single negative thing to say, everything was top-notch. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. If you're in Boston, do not miss it!
I got the Ham and Cheese Toastie (pic below) and that has been the best tomato soup I’ve ever had!!

I almost didn't go to dinner here because we needed a reservation and had to wait a while, but I can see why you need that reservation. There was a live band that played great music, the staff were very pleasant and the food... Sometimes you have a meal that you remember for the rest of your life. This was one of them. Everything was delicious. My girlfriend, who for years had a favorite restaurant that she talked about frequently, now has a new favorite restaurant. I will weep some days thinking about this place, as I live so very far away from it, but rest assured I will return not for the city of Boston, not for the red sox, but for emmets and their food.
