Unassuming,relatively inexpensive Irish pub near the Statehouse and Suffolk University. Food is pretty good, prices reasonable, but service is outstanding. A nice cozy atmosphere with a warm. Townie feel. Great Irish coffee in a small glass so it's not that overwhelming thing with a mound of whipped cream.
A fun vibe at this quaint Irish pub. There was live music being amplified over speakers and I had to scream at my partner to be heard. Way too loud. The potato skins were yummy. The beet salad was great. My Reuben was dry. Also, we did not appreciate being asked to leave when we weren't finished yet.
Place was a typical Irish style pub. Crazy busy on Saturday night. Definitely a hot spot for college age guys. Food was lacking but service was excellent with every person we interacted with.
