Empire is one of those spots that feels upscale but still fun and approachable. Located in the Seaport, it has a trendy, modern vibe with dim lighting, sleek décor, and a lively atmosphere, definitely a good choice for a night out with friends, a birthday dinner, or even a date.
The menu leans pan-Asian with a big focus on sushi, small plates, and shareable dishes. There’s a lot of variety, so it’s easy to order a mix of things for the table. The sushi is fresh and nicely presented, and the specialty rolls feel creative without being overcomplicated. The hot dishes are flavorful and come out well-timed, which makes sharing easy and enjoyable. We enjoyed the peking duck, which was flavorful and similar to other high quality peking duck we've had in the past. The mapo tofu was also good, though not as numbing as we would've liked.
Service is generally attentive and professional, and the staff does a good job handling larger tables and busy nights. Overall, Empire is a solid Seaport go-to if you’re looking for Asian food, cool ambiance, and a fun night out.

Lady at the front was extremely rude and miserable I honestly feel bad for her. Came in on a Tuesday night, the place was almost empty. She tried to sit us at a 2 top table but since we usually order a lot of food we asked to move to a booth. She goes “2 people at 4 seater… why not?” In a sarcastic and disrespectful voice. Definitely not how I would want to be sat as a guest. Our server was super sweet but everything else fell short.

I went to Empire last night for the 1st time ever for my cousins birthday dinner and I will say the food was amazing. The environment was beautiful and stunning. Our server Hayden was so sweet and helpful, her kindness and professionalism was 10/10. I will definitely be back again.

These people are so incredibly rude. My friends and I came in for all you can eat sushi today. We are all under 21 and they kept telling us to sit in one spot then to sit in another spot and kept kicking us out of everywhere we went even though they told us to sit us there. Absolutely terrible instructions. So unprofessional. Brought my friend to tears with rudeness and how frustrated they made us with their inconsistent instruction. Will never return again.

$25 AYCE sushi deal on Wednesday’s are pretty solid. They gotta improve the hamachi roll and the gobo roll though. Also, our server was very enthusiastic and kind, which was a change up because most of the other servers seemed a bit too serious. She even offered our table a side of gobo to try as there’s very little in the rolls. Wish I got her name down.

I went for the sushi deal on Wednesday which is 25 per person and it says is all night long , but when we get there they told us is not available. They should be more transparent about their advertisement , the service wasn’t that good the server didn’t check on us at all , bad experience but food was good , we wouldn’t come back tho
