Had dinner at this location on Saturday, March 23rd...and it was greatReservations are a must...complimentary coat checking on this rainy evening was a plus...hostess sat us down at our table overlooking the open air kitchen, which i am a big fan of...right away we were asked if we want still or sparking water...waitress came right after that and took our drink orders...we chose many things off the menu to name as we shared many many apps, but they were all excellent...the specialty drinks to choose from were fun, i tried the peach mai tai...didnt have dessert as we were full...NOW THE FUN PARTS BEGINS, this place turns into a mini lounge/night club with a DJ and that part was LIT...once we were done at our dinner table, we moved to the middle open air space with the high boy tables and hung out there for the rest of the night...excellent vibes, excellent crowd looking to have a great time with friends, drinks and music...easy access to get drinks...VIP available for bottle service for those that choose...great place to celebrate bday parties, and then stay for the music. For those that have been in NYC and gone to TAO Downtown, its compare Empire to that location( but not up to TAO level )Its my first time at this location, but will def be back and will recommend to others that come visit Boston

Me and my best friend dined here to celebrate grad school acceptances. Our server was TIERRA and she was INCREDIBLE. As someone who has worked in the service industry for a few years I have never received such attentive service like this. The hosts read the note I left about it being a special occasion and they brought us an amazing desert with great presentation. The food was a 20/10!!! Tierra was kind and patient with us, we were there for 2 hours and she was amazing with us the entire time. We didn't feel rushed once. The manger who came to check on us was extremely kind and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back again. AMBIANCE AMAZING TOO!! Thank you so much for an amazing night !!

There are mice inside the restaurant. We spent $400 or so on food and there was a mouse running around. Manager gave us a round of drinks and assured us they do pest control but this is not acceptable!!!

Don’t go here. Bought the bar crawl pass and would not accept a legal license of 22 because it wouldn’t “scan”. They would not accept it even if a police officer can validated it. Also would not put the license number into the system to confirm the license was real. Never trying Empire again. I hope for you that go get lucky that the scanner works!

If you are looking for an upscale Asian restaurant that has a modern vibe, this is the place. They have an exceptional selection of food that has fulfilling taste and incredible sauces that amplify the overall quality of the food. The interior decor was outstanding with Asian culture designed around its massive space. Our server Tom(Bryan) was very helpful with our food selection and recommendations for what to get to eat/drink. If you want your night to end very well, get the Baked Alaskan dessert.

I walked in and was able to sit at a nice table for one. The service was a little slow but the food was amazing. Very great ambience super trendy. The black and tuna was one of the best crispy rices 9.5/10. The side of Ginger was also really good. I highly recommend getting the seaweed salad to start.

Expensive but I would recommend coming here for drinks, appetizers and sushi only. None of the mains/entrees were worth ordering. Would recommend: Blackened tuna/spicy salmon rice bites Wagyu sliders Lobster rangoons Jonah crab rangoons Chili pork wontons Tuna truffle sashimi Tataki belly flight

A wonderful night and fabulous food as usual was made even better by Tiara’s excellent service and Manager Laura’s kindness in sending us a special dessert. It was lovely to meet her and we enjoyed conversing with her. It’s those little extra touches and attention that really elevate the experience.

This is without a doubt my favorite restaurant in Boston! I’ve been here four times already and I’ll keep coming back. I try different things each time I come, and they never ever disappoint. This time around I tried the chicken teriyaki appetizer for the first time and it was amazing. Highly recommend. The food, the service and the ambiance are all top notch. I love it!

I wanted to like Empire, I really did. We were visiting for a friend’s birthday, and the service was so bad that I will not be back!Let me preface by saying that the kitchen was on their A-Game last night. Their food SLAPS, I will be thinking about the crispy rice bites for a good while to come, and the duck two ways was so tender. It really seemed like everyone was enjoying the food, and the kitchen was super quick, too.But for the price point of this restaurant, (expecting to pay at least $100-150/head), the service was non-existent. Our server was clearly overwhelmed and had a section that was too big. However, this was made worse because the support staff were rude and not helpful at all. We also did not see a manager all night. The front of the restaurant turns into a club late at night, so maybe that's their focus. If Empire wants to capture the Boston dining crowd, the restaurant needs more time and attention to table service. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

Food is bland, very mediocre, lower all ur expectations. If it’s spiced it’s unevenly spiced, I mean this kitchen needs a savior. I ordered a starter, a main, and sushi and they were all bleghhh. I wouldn’t come back.Service wasn’t welcoming, I was rushed off our table that the next reservation was coming in 5min, 30min later still nobody had showed up. They’re quick to clear you off.Not kid friendly. Inside ambiance is good, appealing that’s about it. I wouldn’t waste my time coming here again or recommending this place to anyone. It’s waste of space.
