Awesome spot with great ambience and service. The iberico secreto was particularly memorable, and the cocktails were great - creative and not too sweet. My only suggestion would be for more frequent personal plate clearing between shared plates - but we could have asked and I’m sure they’d have obliged.

Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for gluten free; several DF/GF options though limited - and expected.

Absolutely fantastic! The mozzarella sticks, artichokes, pasta, and tiramisu were all incredible dishes, and my girlfriend is gluten-free, so the celiac-safe guarantee made this a real treat.

WHAT A MEAL HOLY COW!!!!!!!! The octopus is to die for, the bolognese pasta is amazing, the sesame brownie ice cream to finish it off is the best. Highly recommend!!!

I went for a business meeting with my fraternity president and the meeting went well - which I attribute to the high quality food of this restaurant!!!

The staff and interior created a pretty nice vibe overall, but I gotta say it is definitely overpriced. The food was good, but not great probably won't be back.

I went here last night for a date night and as a lot of people complained about two things, overpriced and subpar food for TINY portions.
We ordered 4 items, tuna tartare, lamb ribs, burrata and cacio y pepe.

The one that I liked the most was the burrata. It had different textures and I liked the prosciutto on top but it was really only 2 pieces. The part that I thought was odd was that it was served with ONE piece of bread for the whole dish. To make matters weirder, it was classified as a “small plate” or a tapas. Usually for a dish like that there’s like 3 or 4 pieces of bread on the table. We had to ask for another piece of bread. Again, weird but okay.

The cacio y pepe texture was odd, it was undercooked for sure but had a semi gummy texture/ taste as someone previously mentioned also.
The tuna tartare came in these 3 little tea sandwich style things. It was fine but for $20 for basically 3 bites seemed odd. The lamb ribs were very tender but it had a LOT of inedible cartilage in the meat. It was also weirdly hard to cut which was odd. I’ve been to many tapas restaurants before and the dishes are usually mindful of “sharing plates” but this restaurant felt like it couldn’t decide what it was trying to be. Nothing felt exactly coherent to bring Italian food or even Italian-American food. It was a weird pile of confusing items that were too small.

The service was weird, there was this lady who was our server and had a sweet demeanour and came to our table 3 or 4 times throughout the meal to check in with us. However towards the end of our meal we had a different server take over who was cold and standoffish and felt like he was basically giving us the check before we even finished eating. Genuine question, is this considered “good” service because it felt extremely rude. Europeans would be appalled and horrified by him. It left a weird “taste” in my mouth that I wasn’t fond of.

I had high hopes considering how much I love the other restaurants from this group. For these prices I was expecting to be blown away by the food but you can get better Italian food elsewhere. 24 bucks for 3 mozzarella sticks because they added a smidge of caviar to them is insane. Giving stars only because the service was fine

We came in with high expectations given the reviews and lack of booking availability. By the time the server greeted us (over 15 minutes after we were seated) we had to discuss going somewhere else instead. We wish we had, but it was already 8:30 PM and we were hungry. We ordered two non alc drinks, oysters, "grandma" bread, a caesar salad, lamb ribs, and two pasta dishes after they said the servings were "tapas" sized. That would be generous, the portions were maybe sized for my cat.

The first issue was the service, it was awful. When "grandma's" bread came the waitress who looked like she ate grandma yelled "This isn't for you!" in my ear. It looked like Grandma died before making this bread...it was olive oil with a side of bread. The oysters were the highlight of the meal I guess, hard to mess up oysters. This may be a personal preference, but when I order a caesar salad, I like the lettuce to be cut and the stems removed. The lamb was a greasy, gamey bone-in mess. At least they didn't leave my dog out of the order. The pasta portion sizes were finally decent granted they were all $40 a plate, but the dishes were bland, mushy, glue-like aberration of noodles that made us wish they just used trader Joe's dried noodles instead.

The ambiance was lively, loud, and great for a Friday evening. It's a shame that the service and food was more representative of the ending of Requiem for a Dream.

Vegetarian options: It wasn't vegetarian, they just refused to bring proteins in the dishes that included them.

Dietary restrictions: They do not adjust the menu for allergies. They simply just tell you that you're not allowed to eat.

Kid-friendliness: Do not bring kids, or adults to be honest

No complaints here. As walk-ins, we were accommodated almost immediately. Our server Lisa was amazing from beginning to end and love that she knows who Totoro is. From the dim lights, to the clean, white walls, the food was the cherry on top. Every bite was like the first bite. Meaning I enjoyed my dish the entire time food was in my mouth. My husband me I will be returning to try out more delicious dishes.

Our dinner was fantastic

Kevin G.

My wife and I recently dined there along with 2 other couples. We shared several of the appetizers and small plates (mozzarella sticks are a must) and were not disappointed in the least. Then the main courses came out and were even better! Everything about the experience was amazing, from the atmosphere, to the drinks, food, and especially the service. Our server Sam was back and forth to our table all night to ensure we always had everything we needed. He even schooled me, a self-professed wine snob, on a Barolo dessert wine I had never even heard of before. I never got the chance to admit he was right, so consider this review as my formal admission.

Food was good but so small for what you pay. $40 for 4 tiny strip of steak and $30+ each for pasta which you could eat in 3 bites. I like small plates but the portion sizes were offensive. Never coming back.

We have been here several times, but tonight we celebrated my boyfriend's birthday. I have a gluten allergy and really appreciate how accessible the menu is, particularly the celiac safe fresh pasta. All of our dishes were packed with flavor and every bite left you excited for what's next. The octopus is a mainstay and it's definitely worth ordering every time. Thanks to Sam for the great service!

We went here because they stressed ability to deal with food allergies. The owner’s daughter is celiac. 2 of the 4 at dinner were gluten/ cow dairy sensitive.
They were unable to offer acceptable dishes that constituted a full or good experience.
I ordered an appetizer caccio Pepe and entree chicken Milanese. They were served at the same time and after everyone else was finished with their meal.
I asked to see the manager who said thanks for letting me know and enjoy the rest of your evening.
We went out for pizza afterwards.
Pitiful experience.

I came here for New Year's Eve with a friend with severe celiac disease. With their extensive gluten-free menu, we both felt this was a safe dining space. Overall, the food was good. The gluten-free pasta was delicious, and so was the duck. Unfortunately, the service was severely lacking.

As front-of-house staff myself, one of the benefits of a high-end restaurant is the attention to detail and the impeccable service. Part of paying over 50+ per head is being spoiled! It was incredibly disappointing that this was not the case. Our tables had empty drinks for at least 10-15 minutes (both water and wine). If this was a highly casual restaurant, that would not be a significant issue. But, one of the perks of a dining high end restaurant is the top-notch service. To make matters worse, the waitress was at the POS system chatting with another server while I sat there, hoping to get water. Overall, this was a really disappointing experience. Unless you have celiac disease and need a safe kitchen, I definitely don't recommend this restaurant. You can find equally as delicious duck on Newbury Street with far better service elsewhere for much cheaper.
