We arrived 30 minutes before the reservation and grabbed a drink at the bar. We asked a few questions about the food and recommendation, and the bartender was very nice and professional. Our table was great, right near a window. Our server was very nice and professional. We ordered the Ceasar to split, and the short ribs and steak tips. The Caesar and Steak tips were really good, but the short ribs were amazing! I would go back for those alone.

Fenway Johnnies in Boston turned out to be one of the less crowded options in the Fenway Park area. This is likely not the case during baseball season. They have a somewhat limited menu featuring upscale pub fare, but our food was very good. I started off with a tasty and effective Oaxaca Odyssey and then dove right into a delicious Steak & Cheese Hoagie while my friend had the Steak & Cheese Springrolls. If you love baseball you will enjoy the baseball themed decor. Recommended.

Awesome experience! We visited from Texas last month with some friends. This was our first stop and Mikey was our bartender. He made us feel welcomed and gave us recommendations in Salem. On our next visit, we will definitely be back because of him!

Making a reservation during busy times works out great. The staff is friendly & professional. Our server, Bri D, made sure to check in just enough especially being as busy as she was. She is excellent at her job!

We get nothing but the best service at Johnnie’s! Food was to die for, and Johnnie personally comes over to every table to ensure his customers are getting the best experience in Boston. No place is better before game day at Fenway!5 stars!

Met up with college buddies before a Sox game. All of our meals were great- salmon dish was praised by my Cspe friend who knows his fish, I enjoyed the juicy burger and a very generous house salad, and another complimented how fresh his Reuben sandwich was. Draft brews all around. Attentive service. Clean restroom. Sports memorabilia decor and a convivial crew of hometown baseball fans made it the perfect pregame place to fuel up.

My elderly father and I had dinner here before the Sox game. Dad got fish and chips and I got the salmon. We both were extremely happy with the quality, taste and presentation! Our server was a very kind young lady who was attentive and considerate with my dad. Dad doesn't get around too well, and they all were extremely helpful and courteous! 10 out of 10!!!

Great place for some refreshing food and drinks before or after Sox games, or really any Fenway event. Friendly staff and overall a great environment for a sports bar

Had dinner and drinks here before a show at Fenway and I can’t say enough good things about this place!! We had a reservation at 5pm but ended up showing up a little early and they sat us immediately. Our server Bri was so friendly and very attentive. She gave us some great recommendations and wrote us the sweetest note when she brought us our check! Absolutely 0 complaints - friendly, fast service and great food!

My regular spot pre & post Sox games. Awesome pregame - lively crowd, attentive servers, outstanding drinks. Tried the flatbread & OMG it is outrageously delicious. Post game it was very quiet - actually nice to hang out, have a drink & wait for my rideshare.

Great spot to get some food and drink before a Sox game and not too crowded or noisy- we will return for the next game

Loud but to be expected, especially on a game day. Johnnie's House Burger at $21 is overpriced for a dried up, flavorless, normal size burger. Pulled Pork Sandwich was loaded with pulled pork but that was flavorless also; there was no bbq or smokey flavor to it, and hard to find and discern pimento cheese sauce. The bun it was paired with was not a good choice as it immediately started falling apart when picking up to eat. The Pineapple Chicken Sandwiches (3 in our group) were good and a Steak and Cheese Hoagie was just OK. We had a Soy allergy in our party and they were accommodating about it, which was appreciated. Overall it was noisy, expensive (expected near Fenway), and average food.

The food is GREAT! The focused menu is very quality. The service is also great! The environment is awesome, such a great gem, and the proximity to the park is PERFECT. We have eaten here 2 years in a row on our Boston vacation and I highly recommend it!
