This was one of the most disappointing food experiences I have had while visiting Boston. I really wanted to try their bacon wrapped scallops. My first time trying scallops, I figure how could you go wrong wrapping them in bacon? I noticed the bacon was a little...extra dark. But I don't mind that at all, I love bacon like that. However...overcooked bacon also meant overcooked, rubbery scallops. Served alongside lukewarm fries that weren't really all that good. And for $21 this was something I will not be coming back for.

Sad to say this place has not had a good history, but is known for marginal freshness and small portions.

Probably the worst seafood you can find. The clam chowder was terrible. It was more like a cheap potato soup. I hope I don’t get sick. The fried clam dinner was mostly a mountain of nasty French fries and not many good whole belly clams. Oh and the Cole slaw tastes like it’s gone bad.

DO NOT EAT!
fish and fries are mediocre not worth $35
Did not tip the entitled server so he threw the receipt in my face and said ‘take that as a tip.’
Just a horrible experience altogether
AVOID!

If you’re looking for quality fish and chips and good service, skip this place. The fish was served in large chunks, which would have been fine if it were high quality, but it wasn’t. The flavor was lacking, the fish had brown spots and skin still on it, and overall it just wasn’t enjoyable.
Service was also disappointing. The man at the register handed me the receipt and said, “Please tip us,” then immediately commented on my tip amount to the other worker, something they did with every customer. I get that tips matter, but wait until the guest walks away.
Quincy Market is a great spot to explore, but there are far better food options than this. Keep walking.

Food is as terrible as the service. No flavor, worst clam chowder ever. Watery with no flavor. Find anywhere else at the market but here.

Shrimp cocktail plate was good. A little pricey, but it is a tourist location.
You should be ashamed to serve your clam chowder here in Boston. The worst barely luke warm chowder I have ever eaten. Super watery and didn’t have a chowder consistency at all. I threw it away.
Quincy Market location:
I ordered the fish and chips combo, which comes with coleslaw. I asked to hold the coleslaw and he gave me extra fries which was nice of them. However, the food was very underwhelming. There was absolutely no seasoning on either the fish or chips. $22 plus tax and tip down the garbage unfortunately. I should’ve read the reviews first and notice the big red flag of no one ordering from them. I hope they turn it around and offer more flavorful dishes as their menu has many options to chose from. But alas, the fish and chips meal was a definite no go for me.
I had an excellent experience here, ordered the fried items with all seafood and it was super yummy and fresh. Particularly enjoyed the fried oysters. The guy also packed nicely to make it to go for me. Very satisfying experience eating here.
Poor quality fish and chips
