While once an institution in Boston's South End neighborhood, this place has seemingly succumbed to the cycle of great to good to fair in one's food and ratings. General inattentiveness to detail in menu offerings, presentation and quality contributed to this, and at this price level those might be better off spending one's time and money elsewhere.
Would have given them less stars but the food was great and came quickly and we got seated before our reservation. Our waiter was super standoffish, thought to maybe check him for a pulse once or twice as he was super indifferent to us even being there. He was attentive, I'll give him that, but we felt like an inconvenience from the jump. They have two TV's on the walls on either side of the bar, one is playing the Chiefs game and the other a rerun of a tennis match....
