Yall. I’m confused. Everyone I know loves flames but I have yet to be convinced. Everybody knows the customer service is trash which is honestly fine idrc. But the food better be good. The food, to me, is meh. And I don’t care to put businesses on blast but had the worst tilapia of my life from flames yesterday. Yall I love seafood, any kind of seafood I don’t discriminate. But that tilapia tasted 3 days old. So I was like okay move on the rice and peas. Now someone f-ed...
I’ve been a Flames customer since it first opened a couple of decades ago. I typically order the oxtail or salt fish and okra and always takeout, which brings me to my biggest gripe with the restaurant. The styrofoam clamshell containers that invariably leak badly are inadequate for carrying out their saucy dishes. It’s long time that they be retired and replaced with plastic containers that can seal tightly.
I love the staff and food. The smell and look of the food is hypnotic. I love the music and catching the chefs singing and grooving while cooking. That's a PLUS!! You know the food is bout to HIT. Getya Sum of that Yum!!
