Not what we were expecting. Went for brunch and the menu is quite reduced. Ordered the steak tips and I had to return it, since it did not taste well. Kids ordered french toast and avocado toast and did not finish them. Could be good for dinner or lunch perhaps, but definitely what we were expecting for a sunday brunch

We recently visited The Florentine Cafe, and while the food and service were top-notch, the overall experience was marred by the ambiance. The dim lighting made the space feel uncomfortably dark. I understand that a low light setting might be intended to create a romantic atmosphere, but it was more distracting than intimate. On top of that, the noise level was unbearable. The crowd seemed to be yelling at each other despite being seated in close quarters, which definitely took away from any potential charm. I wouldn't recommend this place for a family, especially those with kids, as the environment just isn't conducive to a peaceful meal. If you're looking for a quiet, pleasant dining experience, this might not be the right spot for you.

I stood at the entrance waiting to be seated for what felt like an eternity, but all the waiters nearby attended to their tables without paying any notice to me. I eventually had to walk in and walk up to a waitress who was busy chatting by the bar in order to get seated for dinner.

Empty bar on a Friday night. The bouncer with slicked back hair and a sport coat on didn't let my friends into the restaurant, didn’t give a reason. Would never go back.
Food was hardly redeeming, it was the only part of the experience that made me not want to throw up. The service was atrocious atmosphere was diabolical, 0/10 recommend. Would much prefer places such as il panino or R2.

This was my first visit here. It was very cute inside. The waitress was great she checked on us often and answered all our questions when ordering. The espresso Martini was delicious. Our table bread was crisp and ho it had the perfect texture. We got mussels for our appetizer. The sauce was perfect. I had the lobster fra diablo for my entree I felt my lobster was a bit undercooked it looked different from any lobster I’ve ever eaten The waitress took it back. But when she brought it back she said the cook heated my food. The same lobster was on my plate and still didn’t look good. That was the only thing I didn’t like about the visit it threw the rest of the meal off. Might give it another shot next time I’m around there

Went in to see if any tables available as I was walking by. We had just previously checked online and they had multiple open reservations but told us if we wanted to dine in we would have a time limit of an hour because of other reservations. Ridiculous. Went down the street to a better place.
