I've heard that Florentine makes amazing espresso martinis and we finally made it here today! Absolutely delicious!! We sat at the bar for lunch and Mario served us. During lunch it was busy and he was very attentive with a friendly smile. We were extremely satisfied with our experience and will be back to see Mario D!!!

I came with a friend to enjoy a sunny day and the bartender Mario was really rude didn’t even look at us to get out order. Very rude.

Order was wrong, dishes came out at different times, bill was wrong. Enough said.

Food was great!! Atmosphere was charming. Small little dinning area with windows to let in fresh air and sunlight(if you go early). I went on a Thursday evening around 5:30, was told only have 1 hour to eat since no reservations(highly recommend reservations). The hour was no issue, food was quick, service was okay. Wish that when our food came they brought over the shredded cheese. Waited for waiter to come and offer, never came, wasn’t overly crowded either. Ate my meal without it, not a huge deal, but for price point it would have been nice. That is the only reason I can’t give it five out of five.
The pasta was great, the chicken was perfect, the Caesar salad was good, and the wine paired well. Overall, a positive experience, I would consider going back.

We had the eggplant parmigiana and bolognese! Both were delicious! I enjoyed their espresso martini too!

Florentine Café in the North End has to be one of the best meals I’ve had in the area. The zucchini flowers are a must-try, but the real star is the ravioli aragosta 20/10. It’s packed with actual lobster and not just a cream based filling like others. Truly unforgettable

Spectacular food. Great wine. A key part of what makes little Italy in Boston special.

Beautiful evening at Florentine Cafe with open windows, it felt like we were in Europe! Had the branzino, salmon, and a side of broccoli rabe which were all delicious. Service was excellent.

Overall a nice restaurant with a good choice of Italian classics . We had a nice table by the open window on a warm balmy evening . Enjoyed it . Food quality was ok on taste but the shrimp cocktail was a very basis 4 cold prawns with a dip sauce . Bruschetta was minuscule . Mains of parmigiana and rigatoni were ok . $170 bill with only 4 glasses of wine was steep IMIO.

We enjoyed our food and the service was good but the sun was streaming in. I was so hot I couldn't focus on my meal. They really need to use air conditioning, shade the windows or both

Grateful that was the only place with vacant tables, and food was delicious. The lobster diavolo is juicy and tasty. However, the AC was off and it ended up like a steam room. The waitress was definitely not having her day. Waited for 15 minutes to get someone to take our order. Our eyes crossed and clearly she noticed I was staring ar her, but she chose to ignore. And knowing it was steaming hot, she chose to fill the table left of us, right of us but skipped our table. Not sure why though. Through out the dinning, her face was down and talked as if everybody else owe her something. I hope she'd have a better day tomorrow. For other customers, if you just want good taste, this is the place. But if you look for good service, I'd hesitate.

We love eating here when we are in the north end. Alexa was excellent. It was enjoyable and the food was good.

Food was excellent. We had gnocchi and squash blossoms. The issue we had was it was very noisy and we were seated in the basement. It was a hard trip up and down and the basement was very dark. Would have preferred a table upstairs.

Decent food, but below average service. No AC, uncomfortable.
