Disappointing at best. We came at open, 8 am. We ordered a medium coffee & a medium iced vanilla latte, a cinnamon roll, a vanilla filled donut and a chocolate croissant to go. We sat and watched people that ordered after us come and go with their food. We didn’t even order anything that wasn’t prepared. After almost 15 minutes I went back up to the counter to wait. We received the iced coffee and two of the pastries. I had to ask for the black medium coffee and the cinnamon roll. Maybe bc I asked for it to go they didn’t heat the cinnamon roll, but they didn’t offer either. They didn’t provide any cutlery, we had to go back in and ask for it. The coffee was extremely bitter and acidic. We are not coffee snobs and frequent many coffee shops often but this was the worst coffee by far we’ve ever had. The cashier did apologize for the wait, but I’m confused why everything was so disorganized. There didn’t seem to be a system with the employees as to who was doing what. I also didn’t see a manager or a shift supervisor that was trying to delegate responsibilities to get the line moving faster. It was all very inefficient. I bought the FLOUR cookbook years ago and made many of her recipes so this was a very disappointing experience.

If you’re looking for gluten free items go elsewhere. They only have sub-par GF bread. My egg sandwich was very disappointing.

I've had really good food here. The cauliflower sandwich is creative and delicious. However I recently had the spicy tofu sandwich with gabage. It had a thick slab of plain, uncooked, unseasoned tofu, incredibly wilted shredded cabbage, and some chili crisp on top. It was awful. I expect better. I've had a good variety of vwry nice tofu sandwiches before. This one went in the bin after a couple of bites. It was truly inedible.

Bakery products are fine, but not the quality I would expect for such a highly praised place.

Got my first ever Boston Pie Cream here and it was great.
Staff was also really friendly. Seating above with a view over the street while enjoying your food is a great feature as well :-).

Place was good for a quick morning pick me up before heading to other attraction areas. I had a sour cream coffee cake slice that was tasty and a macchiato that served to wake me up in the still early morning hours. Place was clean and has a patio like area if it's a nice day for outside dining. Staff is hardworking and friendly.
