I like the food / pastries it’s nice the coffee is good too. My only issue is they never even get my name right to that point that it’s frustrating even when I spell it out they get it wrong and I end up not getting my order right away drinking it cold:)

My last visit i got the half sandwich blt with added turkey. It was horrible. I've gotten the blt a few other times ... sometimes it's good sometimes it's just not.

Wow! Silas at the counter was so helpful! I had many questions, and he answered them all with patience, a smile, and a comprehensive knowledge of the menu. Esteban was making our coffees as soon as we ordered them, and everything was perfect! We had 2 coffees, a hot chocolate, one avocado toast, a bowl of soup, a chicken tika masala sandwhich, and a slice of coffee cake. Visiting from out of town, but I wish I'd found it earlier and eaten a meal (or two) every day of my stay. A real gem of a place. NOT just pastry (though that's awesome), or coffee (but, man, tge quality of tgeir hot beverages), but a fantastic savory menu!

Flour Bakery + Cafe on Cambridge Street is, in my highly delighted gastronomic opinion and based on the frequent, genuinely ecstatic recommendations from everyone I know with a sweet tooth or a refined palate, the definitive champion of Boston bakeries, offering flawlessly executed pastries, breads, and light meals that consistently turn an ordinary morning into a genuinely exceptional culinary experience. Everyone I’ve spoken with consistently praises the legendary quality of their sticky buns and flaky croissants, the impeccable flavor and texture of their savory sandwiches and soups, and the warm, buzzing atmosphere that makes it the ideal spot for a quick coffee or a prolonged weekend brunch, emphasizing that Flour successfully delivers incredible, scratch-made food supported by truly friendly and efficient service. I’ve learned from their narratives that the atmosphere is one of comforting quality, delicious indulgence, and reliable, high-end craftsmanship, making it an exceptional, high-value choice for everything from a grab-and-go breakfast to catering a special event. My subjective conclusion is that Flour is an irreplaceable Boston institution and the gold standard for baked goods - a definitive must-visit - so I strongly urge you to stop by, grab a sticky bun (trust me), and enjoy a little taste of perfection!

Stopped in for a quick lunch & we were really delighted by the menu! There were some great options, and using the kiosk for our order made it seamless (and made it easy to make a small modification to one of the dishes we chose).

Seating areas were tight, but that's to be expected for a popular spot mid-afternoon. All in all, a great experience, would definitely dine there again.

We have appointment at MGH often where we stay at the Wyndham Hotel. It is SO convenient to go next door to Flour for a breakfast egg sandwich. If the line is long the kiosk works great for a short order.

I absolutely love this place! The food is amazing and changes seasonally so it never gets boring. The service is always very friendly and accommodating. My husband spent 10 weeks at Mass General Hospital and Flour Bakery and Café was my go to place when I needed a decent meal or a snack. It’s an easy walk from the hospital and always delicious food. I wish they would open one in Newton!

Tried their pumpkin spice latte and it was okay! Not bad but I think flour is much better with their food menu items. Loved the seating and location!

Nice place; its going to be busy on the weekend. They had the weekend papers for free to read while sipping coffee which is a nice touch.
