I am writing this review after an awful experience with blueground. Specifically customer service. The staff did not try at all to help make our stay comfortable. They did not reply to the best of their ability and sometimes the attitude of their support team makes you wonder who is the customer: one member of the staff was screaming at me while the other hung up on me. This experience with blueground was extremely unpleasant and we do not recommend.
Excelente lugar para vivir en Brighton, Boston.
Quite, clean and nice relaxing areas.
Great public transportation and deliveries . Need new whites for beds and showers. However they provide all that we needed.
I had a liver transplant at BIDHC, and this place help me to have a great recovery.
I think the rice is very high, they should give better price after 30 days.
Cockroach infested homes and unresponsive customer service. Absolutely stay away from this company.
Dont rent !!! It is nightmare !!we rent a 2 bedroom apartment in Boston incl utilities for 6 months .We dont have hot water during 1 week they cant solve problem it is terrible .Because of they dont pay invoice and National Grid was blocked apartmens main line .
Everyday they say problem solving today but they can't...We are still waiting hot water .
If you want to safe and relax stay dont rent from Blueground.
EDIT: Gabriella in the Boston office stepped in and has been extremely responsive and helpful in getting this right - full cleaning, coverage for the hotel, and immediately responding for fixes since move in. Seems like a big hiccup with multiple turnovers that holiday weekend that have since been rectified, so I'm updating the stars here. She's been fantastic in support.
ORIGINAL: I arrived last night on schedule for a 6 month rental, and not only are the keys to the apartment missing (desk clerk let me in through her master key but had no other information on where apartment keys could be), the apartment looked like it had been ransacked. No cleaning, dirt everywhere, dirty towels and sheets, food residue and trash all over the kitchen, and soap scum buildup all over bathroom. It was in such a bad (and unsanitary/unlivable state) that I had to walk over and get a last minute hotel room while I've tried to reach out to app support via phone (4 messages), by chat (two incident reports) and the local Boston staff via email. Hoping that by posting something here I can get some resolution on this as I'm supposed to be living here for the next 6 months.
I used Blueground in Boston
And everything went exceptionally well for my move-in very reactive people. Excellent communication. Appart exactly like it was on the website. Very clean. Nice welcome packets. Really relieved to have had that 1rst experience with a furnished apartment company ?. Thank you so much

We are very disappointed, dissatisfied and feel scammed by Blueground. There are so many problems, I don’t know where to start. Drug addicts and homeless people at the foot of the door. Smell of urine and dirt and trash around the building. Entry to the building and elevator was smelly and dirty. Microwave was broken/shattered unusable without a glass door, dishwasher missing basket , drainage issues in all bathrooms and kitchen sinks , guest toilet was clogged a disgusting disaster, spent 3 hours to unblock it. Broken blinds, dirty floors, mold in the bathrooms, broken / stuck closets. Missing basic kitchen items , dirty and old/unusable scratched pots and pans. Dirty doors, handles , entry to the building and disgusting elevator. Broken door bell. And many more issues. We paid a lot of money, almost $13 thousand dollars a month for a dumpster. At arrival We contacted customer service however none of these issues were resolved. They promised a relocation to a standard of our payment however another empty promise. We talked to other residents in the building, offered by Airbnb. They were given a 5 star apartment, fully satisfied tenants for only $5000 monthly. In addition , we had no internet , thus TV also for last four days of our stay. We contacted them many times, not even a reply to addressed our complaints. It’s a total scam. To be avoided. Horrible service, experience.
I have been staying at a Blueground apartment in Boston. The apartment is awesome but the air conditioning is not. It has been malfunctioning for 3 weeks. It randomly stops working and the temperature in the apartment goes upto 87 F. As it is summer here and there is no ventilation in the apartment, it has become unbearable to live here. Unfortunately we have paid the rent in advance and these guys have no risk. It has become a routine for us to call customer care and explain the same problem again and again to different call center executives. No action has been taken till today. It’s a shame that we live in such a beautiful and historic part of Boston and yet have to suffer in this furnace. Also we are aghast at the irresponsible behaviour of Blueground’s customer care. Compared to this, the average customer care service back in India seems much better. Never booking a Blueground apartment again.
This was our first time using blueground and I was a little nervous as I have never heard of them (since we're from Canada). The experience was amazing! The space was just as advertised and I loved the location. We had a couple small issues in the place and they came and fixed it right away. The app/communication is great and very convenient. I would definitely use blueground again :)
I had a pretty great experience. The apartment was great and matching the photos, and Blueground quickly purchased and sent me any missing stuff (like frying pans, cutlery etc). Everything in the apartment was new and high-quality. I had issues with internet when I arrived, and it took Blueground a week to fix it (which I think could be improved) but the communication was great overall and they were very responsive.

Blueground people were very helpful and responsive. The apartment was very expensive for what it was and a bit run down.
If I could rate a review below one star I would do so due to Blueground’s misrepresentation and poor customer service. I reached out one day prior to booking anything to schedule a viewing as I intended to stay for more than six months and the website states that a prior viewing could be available to those that are staying six months or more. When I called they said that someone would get back in touch with me regarding setting up a viewing and so I went ahead and booked that evening. The next day I called again about the viewing , the possibility of changing the unit and followed up with emails and messages. I was rerouted to the wrong number once and told that my sales person was not available, but would be calling me back. The person did not call me back so I called later that afternoon and was told again that the salesperson was unavailable and then for the first time was told that Blueground does not do tours if if you are staying for six months or more. I was then sent an email about a booking that was different (including being in a different state than where I booked) booking when I asked for more information about my booking. I called and emailed the next day and was again giving the run around. The following day after sending another email the salesperson called me back and stated that they do do tours but not after a person books (which was not on the website or what the previous person told me both prior to my booking and when I spoke with someone the day before) and that even if they did there were no tours available and so what the website says and what I was previously told was wrong. She also informed me that if I did not keep the booking not only would they not give me a refund, but they would charge me over a $2,500 fee for canceling. This would be the case even though Blueground knowingly misled and misinformed me as a way to get me to book their unit. If they are this unorganized and dishonest during the booking, I can only imagine the miscommunications during a stay and therefore do not recommend using them. Blueground’s business practices are unfair and deceptive. I have never written such a negative review about a company, but am truly disgusted by their practices and lack of accountability.
Truly a unique and amazing experience.

I do not recommend this service. I understand that issues happen, but pitiful customer service (that fails to understand the severity of being left homeless at last minute) is unacceptable and makes this service a hard no. You should avoid at all costs.
Late afternoon of move in we were informed that our short term rental was not accessible. We were offered one night in a hotel room near the airport (not at all comparable or an acceptable alternative to house a family of four ) so we found alternate accommodation (Airbnb... far better service). We then spent the next week messaging the Blueground team trying to get an update on availability of the unit. Responses were slow, if received at all. On the final night of our Airbnb (at which point my family would be without a place to stay) I went to the unit to try and get in (because Blueground was unresponsive to my requests to confirm access) and thankfully was able to get in. It then took several weeks to receive any confirmation that we would at least be credited back the days the unit was not available. When this offer was provided it effectively amounted to less than the night at the airport hotel (~$300) and was over $1000 less than the cost to find a different place to stay while waiting.
We also had issues related to parking -- we paid the parking fee for use of the garage, but there was no access "sticker" available in the unit. We notified customer service immediately and despite staying for over a month this issue was never resolved. Again, zero responsiveness, zero meaningful attempts to solve the issue or at least offer a partial credit or refund for a service they charged extra for but then could not fully deliver without significant nuisance.
Instead of immediately posting a negative review I tried to give them constructive feedback and an opportunity to resolve the poor product and service. Completely lost on them and they will not improve. To avoid your own headaches (or running the risk of YOUR family being left homeless and stranded) I suggest going elsewhere.
Easy app to use. Apartment was well furnished and very comfortable.
