We had a great bartender who made an excellent negroni. He took the time to explain to me why it was not bitter. We also had a great server at dinner who explained everything and made sure we had what we needed.
Food was great and good value for price. Restaurant was quiet and staff was attentive. Would return and recommend
We came here as a family to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday upon a recommendation from a friend. As a party of 7, they gave us the room off the bar which worked perfectly. Marcos and his brother were super attentive and took care of us so well! My husband has pretty severe allergies and they were able to make something that tasted wonderful and didn't maim him. The meatballs were excellent and the bolognese didn't disappoint. The only bummer on my end was not reading ahead to realize they didn't have dessert - they like supporting local which I totally appreciate. Everyone joined in for a rousing happy birthday song for my daughter! 10/10 would come back again!
Forcella is a very quaint little restaurant in the North End. Although many of the tables were close to the door, we did not feel cold throughout dinner. Our waiter was attentive and nice. Food was delicious, especially the lobster pasta dish and chicken parmesan. Only downside is they don't serve dessert, coffee, or tea after your meal! We popped over to Bova's for a sweet fix instead.
The food here is always excellent and the atmosphere is outstanding. Our server was excellent and super accommodating. I dream about the papardelle bolognese and the pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe and carbonara got raves as well. Shared Caesar and arugula salads and meatballs to start all of which were excellent. Even though we were a few minutes late on a busy night we received a gracious welcome and were never rushed. Neighborhood gem for sure!!
I don't like fist impressions. At first, I make a reservation for two people by the window. The table at the restaurant not full at all. They seated my friend who got a table fist at a bar. We didn't expect to seat there. Feel like they are not welcome us to the restaurant. All the food is good.
Forcella is a charming Italian restaurant in the heart of Boston's north end. The service was excellent, and the food fresh and authentic. The meatballs are especially delicious 😋
Our waiter David was great! Food was excellent outside patio was nice tables and chairs could be a bit better overall great experience.
Fantastic pasta definitely homemade. Been to many north end restaurants and this one stands out. Expensive wines by the glass only downside.
This was our second time here and it was just good as the first time. Wonderful food, great atmosphere and the staff are fantastic.

if you're looking for authentic Italian food in the north end of Boston do you have found your place?
I had the lasagna and it was incredible! My expresso martini was delicious as well! The mussels appetizer were great as well.
Great food, excellent service. Marco was a very informed waiter. The courtyard provide an excellent location for our meal.
Party of 10 for a business dinner. We were seated in a back private room. The room also served as a staging area for the dishwashing room, it was distracting having all the servers come in to drop their dirty dishes. The food was not enjoyable. Not a single dish stood out. Several plates went untouched. The risotto and pasta were beyond al dente. The restaurant does not have have a liquor license. The restaurant does not serve coffee or dessert. The service was just ok. There was a lack of warmth and care in our dining experience. We will not return. There are several other places to dine in the area.
