Overall a nice dinner. We started with meatballs and caesar salad as appetizers and then for entrees we had Chicken Parm, the Bolognese and the Puttanesca, which were all good. We had friends visiting from out of town and the experience was solid, but we'd try a new place in the North End next time, as it had a sort of generic feel. It was a nice setting but didn't feel like an authentic experience, more like just another restaurant.
We waited in the bar for the rest of our party to arrive. Only one type of whiskey from New York. Only one bartender and he was overwhelmed with diners drinks. Server was just so so. Party of 6 so the check included 20% tip. More than he deserved. Food was acceptable to four of us.
Outstanding restaurant with fantastic authentic food and caring friendly service. Drinks especially the Last Chance were on point. We had an issue with getting a dog sitter and they were able to sit us in a beautiful patio area really facilitating us with a smile every step of the way. Can’t say enough good things about the place. Definitely worth a visit.
