I had a fantastic dinner at The Franklin Cafe last night. From the food to the atmosphere, everything made it such an enjoyable evening.

We started with the mussels, which were absolutely delicious. They were fresh, plump, and was so good we couldn’t stop dipping bread into it. For mains, we had the hangar steak and salmon, and both were excellent. The hangar steak was cooked perfectly, tender and rich with great flavor, while the salmon was beautifully done,...

Just a great old school neighborhood joint - by design. The food is honest, high quality, and prepared well. Staff are friendly, considerate, and accommodating. Vibe is old school South End. Check your attitude and entitlements at the door......and you will have a great time. Brought me back to a time when I used to live a block away.
