We booked a reservation before a show and got there right on time. There was a line, so by the time we got to the desk, it was three minutes over. The hostess said they had no tables available, and tried to initially say it was our fault because we were late. When she quickly realized how inappropriate that was, she apologized and tried to add a table to accommodate us. It took twenty minutes to get a table set up while we waited. We finally sat, and did not get silverware or a waiter over for another fifteen minutes. And when we looked around, many other people had not gotten food, so we realized it would probably be way longer to even eat, with how slow they were, and we would probably be late for our show at that point. We decided to leave as it has been over 50 minutes and we still didn’t have a menu. What’s the point of a reservation if you can’t accommodate. Never going back.

We had such a great time at Ghost Light Tavern! The atmosphere was absolutely phenomenal! Inviting, energetic, and full of character. The staff were friendly and attentive, and everything from the music to the lighting made the experience feel special. It’s the perfect spot for a night out in Boston, whether you’re grabbing drinks with friends or just looking to unwind somewhere with great vibes. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

My friends and I saw that they were selling tickets for their club upstairs during Halloween weekend so we bought tickets - which sold out fast. When we got to Ghost Light, on the day, we were told we could not go upstairs because it was at full capacity, and we would have to join the waitlist, which we had no problem doing. At first, The woman doing the waitlist told us we should just go upstairs and when we told her that the bouncer said it was at full capacity she just told us to join the waitlist. When we joined the waitlist, we were told that it was first come first serve even though we purchased tickets ahead of time. They told us it didn’t matter that we bought tickets and we would have to wait. We left soon after since the waitlist was an hour long and we were most likely not going upstairs.
The issue is that Ghost Light did not honor the tickets they were selling and could organize their events better.

The FOOD! AMAZING! You have to come try the Birria Tacos, as a mexican those were some damn good tacos. As well as the loaded fries packed with so much flavor. With a couple of amazing drinks it was an amazing night. Wonderful place for pic lovers to take some cute photos.

The place in and of itself is okay(great bathroom for pics haha) but the service? Absolutely terrible. We waited for over 30 minutes to get the bartenders attention but she didn't even glance at us once and instead served people that squeezed in in front of her. We eventually ended up leaving ghost light tavern after struggling to buy a single drink and went someplace else. This happened on more than one occasion. The bar is extremely understaffed (2 bartenders for the entire floor) but they also pay zero attention.

Me and my two girls friends were dancing for over 30 minutes upstairs next to the security and dj. A group of 4 boys walked by us and shoved me and my two friends. They turned around and said to the bouncer that we punched them, which wasn’t true, and the bouncer kicked us out and we didn’t even touch them. Misogynistic bar. We said to the bouncer that we didn’t even touch them and he said I didnt see anything and he said we still have to bring you outside. Actually ridiculous. Never coming back

Great service. The drinks were incredible and the atmosphere was awesome! The DJ they had was playing great music that created an incredible dancing atmosphere! All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and really made this new bar in Boston one of my favorites. It felt like a South Florida club, something I felt like Boston was really lacking. 10/10 would recommend and go back!
