My husband and I ordered the Burrata for the appetizer, Lobster ravioli and the shrimp and mussels linguine. They were both really good!! The only thing I would add is that the lobster ravioli was a little salty but I would definitely order it again. Also they ONLY ACCEPT CASH!!!!

The food was excellent, 10/10. Everything tasted great.
However, the service was very disappointing. The servers were rude and unprofessional. They rolled their eyes when we asked questions about the menu and even looked at us in a condescending way, which made us feel uncomfortable.

Food was great and staff was very attentive. No reservation was needed and we were able to be seated immediately. A bit pricey and it was inconvenient that they were cash only although they do keep an ATM by the door. Restaurant is very small but it's warm and cozy. It was a nice experience overall.

Food was decent, however while dining here I watched a cook eating while cooking. She licked her fingers, then used the same fingers to wipe the end of the tongs she was using to cook. Then grabbed pasta with her bare hands to throw into the pot. No one had hair nets on. She didn’t wash her hands between any of this, just went back to go for another bite of food, used a cloth this time to wipe her fingers and the used the same cloth while cooking. I have a servsafe certificate and this is basics of food safety being ignored. Don’t eat here if you don’t want to risk getting sick.

Crab cakes are delicious but service could be better when I cashed out I tipped the older lady which she complained wasn’t enough even though I had to flag her down 3 different times while she was standing around not doing anything
Do love this restaurant. I’m not a huge fan of Italian foods but found the meal delicious! Sitting was cozy and service was good. Being picky - hope the service could be a bit ‘warm’. Thank you and in my list of return visit.

Giacomo’s in the North End is an absolute must-visit when you’re in Boston. From the moment you step inside, you feel the energy of a classic Italian neighborhood favorite — welcoming, lively, and full of authentic flavor.
The pasta dishes are phenomenal — rich, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right every time. The seafood is fresh and delicious, and the portions are generous, giving you great value for what you get. Every dish feels comforting and made with real care, just like homemade Italian cooking.
The vibe is casual and bustling, which adds to the charm, and the staff work hard to make sure you have a great experience even during peak times. It’s no surprise there’s often a line — this place is that good.
If you’re looking for great Italian food in Boston with incredible flavor and a true local feel, Giacomo’s is five stars all the way. 🇮🇹🍝🍷

Fantastic dinner spot! We started with the Caprese, and then got the Veal Marsala and Veal Picatta. It was amazing- absolutely delicious, and perfectly cooked! Service was great as well! Go here when you visit the north end!

We were visiting from California and decided to stop by just to try the food—and we’re so glad we did. As soon as we arrived and sat down, we were welcomed by two singers performing Italian songs, which created such a wonderful and memorable atmosphere.
We ordered the meatballs and the burrata salad, and everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The meatballs with red sauce were especially flavorful and comforting. The service was excellent as well—friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable staff.
We truly loved watching and listening to the singers; it was such a lovely touch that made the experience even more special. The restaurant itself is cozy and comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy great food and ambiance.

Although the food at this restaurant was delicious and worth trying, the service was extremely, extremely bad, which completely ruined the experience. The waitress was elderly, with white or gray hair and wearing glasses, and she was very annoying in her behavior. One of the staff members was also disrespectful: we told him we were four people, but only three of us entered because the fourth person was parking the car. However, he was not happy with this and spoke rudely, saying, “Why do you say you are four when you are only three?” in an unprofessional manner. In addition, one of the staff refused to take a photo of us even though we are tourists and asked politely. The restaurant atmosphere was noisy as well, especially from the kitchen and the irritating way dishes were handled. Overall, it was an uncomfortable experience, and I will not repeat it despite the good food.
