I order lunch from Gifu multiple times a week as I work right next door and it's convenient. The food is decent and is always ready quickly. Unfortunately after today's experience I won't be returning. I was told that unless I showed a form of ID, I would not be able to take my food, which was ready and waiting. The woman at the counter took my food out of my hands and returned it to the counter. This experience was incredibly frustrating and has just lost them the service of myself and my staff who frequent this location. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Standard sushi, teriyaki and bento choices but the prices are just a little higher and the atmosphere is non existent with far open space and bright white led lighting. The food is stewards chicken teriyaki and sushi - i distinguishable from places like Tori near Berkeley and the mall food court staple Sarku -- not bad at all but not on any way innovative. Plants, wood, warm lighting working all help.

Absolutely my favorite place around here for chicken teriyaki or sushi! Really hits the spot for fresh salmon sashimi and chicken teriyaki sauce is delicious. The bubble tea is great here too. Very fresh and everything tastes great every time I come! Only suggestion is to add more tables inside so people can sit and eat!

I ordered from grub hub and found two nasty hairs on my sushi. I ordered a bento box and got braised cabbage instead of a fresh salad. The beef cold have used a lot more sauce but it was tender and tasty. I don't think I will order from here again.

Convenient and efficient. Close to BMC. Have ordered poke bowls twice for takeout and they are always ready when I arrive. Good ratios of ingredients, and large amount of food provided. Haven't tried their drinks, so cannot comment there.
