The sushi taco tastes were so unharmonious. Tuna taco was okay, salmon taco was very hard to eat because of too much mixed falvours.
Nice staff and good atmosphere but I would not try here again. Also, it was way too expensive for just a light meal.
Ordered the bulgogi. The flavour was great! There wasn’t much meat though and the way it was prepared was a little odd - not in large thin slices like bulgogi typically is.
The first time that I ever heard of and ate a sushi taco was at Gogo Ya. All I have to say is that the flavors are delicious and that you must try for yourself as the poor reviews that I see about this place are misleading.
It's CHEF'S KISS
that's all.
It's so good
Actually I really don't understand the poor reviews here about the food taste, I think they're incredible! I had the bowls and they are super yums. I liked their soda options too. I can't wait to try more
About the price, you get what you pay for, and it's way more affordable than going to o ya. yes they're the team behind o ya, so you know you get good quality and delicious foods (my review is purely on the quality of the food at gogoya).
I know I'm going to feel good w the ingredients bc theyre of incredible quality, and it's done thoughtfully.
Thank you Gogo Ya
The crispy nori sushi tacos are incredibly innovative! My favorite is the (extra) torched salmon with lemon zest 🍋9:
Ordered 2 sushi tacos and instead of making them the 4 staff at the location inside of Time Out spent 20 minutes chatting amongst themselves while I sat nearby...instead of making my 2 sushi tacos. $25 later... go elsewhere. The only reason they even remembered to make my order was because I had to ask the rude girl at the register where my order was and then she had to passive aggressively apologize -- not even a small attempt to make things right. There are a lot of options in Time Out - all of them are better which is a shame because the sushi tacos used to be my favorite splurge.

Disappointed - have eaten here before- took some sushi Togo and when I finally sat down 15 min later and dipped a piece in “soy sauce” it tasted like vanilla!!! Did not have any soy sauce to enjoy the sushi with.

Early at 1230pm Sunday, place was quiet which typically crowded later the same day! I see this nori tacos, unusually crispy seaweed? I had to try!! Ordered $20 for 2, spicy tuna and mushroom tacos. Interesting, yummy with spicy tuna(not spicy but a little to taste) and the mushrooms with sweet heavy taste of teriyaki are scumptious. Great for light meal. I have to say, based on many other reviews given, this go go ya is not a typical type of takeout fast food. I can get mexican tacos cheaper and I had paid high price for same mexican tacos. But a japanese nori tacos? Its an experience to see new ideas to be recreate from maki version of sushi, but better with added bits of flavorings. And you dont need chopsticks!! The comparable size of each Japanese tacos are larger than the mexican tacos large or small. I think the restaurant had chosen a good location to be part of an extraordinare European style food hall. Given Timeout Magazine great credentials to bring chef-inspired into food court dining!!

Go for: Japanese fusion food that's actually well-executed and flat-out delicious.Avoid if: You're unwilling to shell out $20 + tip for two tacos.Something surprising: This place doesn't have another location outside of Time Out Market.Reservation needed? No, counter service and communal tables only.Overall . Once you get past the ridiculous price-gouging at Time Out Market (e.g., $13 for a beer), you might appreciate how incredibly tasty Gogo Ya's food is. The salty-umami flavor and terrific mix of texture in their dishes demands they move or expand into their own location in a busier, more-easily accessible part of town. Excited to see where this place goes in the future.Value for Price: 2Sanitation: 4Food Quality: 5Menu Precision: 4Service Quality: 3Timing: 3Decor: 3Access: 3—5 among the best4 strong3 not too bad2 mediocre1 never again

Their Nori tacos was one of the best things I’ve had in a very long time.

Overpriced poorly prepared food. Honestly the food looks like a kid is learning how to make sushi. The rolls only have 6 small pieces. Not worthy of your money.

The sushi was very underwhelming, lacking enough fish- mostly cucumber. Very expensive, $30 for two rolls.
