Early at 1230pm Sunday, place was quiet which typically crowded later the same day! I see this nori tacos, unusually crispy seaweed? I had to try!! Ordered $20 for 2, spicy tuna and mushroom tacos. Interesting, yummy with spicy tuna(not spicy but a little to taste) and the mushrooms with sweet heavy taste of teriyaki are scumptious. Great for light meal. Go for: Japanese fusion food that's actually well-executed and flat-out delicious.Avoid if: You're unwilling to shell out $20 + tip for two tacos.Something surprising: This place doesn't have another location outside of Time Out Market.Reservation needed? No, counter service and communal tables only.Overall . Once you get past the ridiculous price-gouging at Time Out Market (e.g., $13 for a beer), you might appreciate how incredibly tasty Gogo Ya's food is....
Gogo Ya has the most amazing bento bowls ever!!!! I have never had such a great bowl: not too salty, perfect amount of each ingredient, and everything had such a rich taste. The salmon was amazing. Pretty expensive prices but the bowl was definitely worth the $22.
