Honestly went to this restaurant to wait 30 minutes before a show with my wife, this place has a “bar” with two seats. They were amazing definitely worth a stop

Gopchang Story Boston is the ultimate spot for Korean grilled intestines. The gopchang is fresh, chewy, and full of flavor, especially when paired with their spicy dipping sauce. The staff grills everything to perfection. A must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Korean BBQ with bold flavors!

wanted to get late night kbbq, paid $80 for 2 small plates of meat (they didn’t have ayce) that weren’t that good or well seasoned. they didn’t bring out all the sides and i had to specifically ask for fish cake and mashed potato by name. also they didn’t let us cook the bbq ourselves and it was awkward to wait for them to finish flipping, when i guess we could have just ordered the premade bbq from the kitchen? not sure if we were being profiled for not being korean, it’s a bummer because i really wanted to like this place! maybe im just used to kbbq at different places or this place is just for people who expect to spend a lot of money for not much food or it’s better as a bar. the indoor vibes were good though was playing kpop videos and lots of groups were having fun

Anyone can see that if you don't want to work and are going to rub all the meat in your mouth so that it sticks out, then just leave it alone and let me do it. I could barely control my anger as I watched the tripe being tossed around on the TV. You shouldn't treat people's food like that. It's rude to show a customer that you don't want to work. If you're going to do that, you should go home. Thanks to the friendly male staff, I was able to have a good time.

Parking: We had pork belly kimchi and was good but too sweet for my taste. Not used to paying for a bowl of rice in any Korean restaurant. Fried rice order with pork belly was mixing juice from the dish mixed with plain rice with egg.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I visited on Friday around 12:00 PM, and was welcomed without issue. However, today, despite Google Maps indicating the restaurant closed at 1:00 PM, I arrived at 11:00 PM, only to be told they could not accommodate me because the kitchen had already closed. This is poor management and very frustrating. Clearly, there is a lack of consistency in their operating hours and customer service. I will not be returning.

We tried the assorted intestines BBQ, small size—more than enough. The large intestine dominated, overly oily and hard to enjoy. The stewed intestine dish was even more disappointing. Despite the menu promising small intestines, it was half-filled with large ones, poorly cooked and tough to finish. Overall, the dishes felt heavy and unbalanced. Proceed with caution if you're not a fan of large intestines.

We visited Gochang just a few minutes before it opened. The kimchi pork belly was flavorful, but it became overly salty as the pot continued to boil. The seafood pancake, on the other hand, was excellent, packed with a generous variety of ingredients, making it thick and hearty, rather than just flour-based.

The fried rice is not recommended, it was extremely salty. I could only take one bite.

Overall, not bad. But If there’s a wait of over 30 minutes, I wouldn’t consider it worth it. My suggestion is to arrive early, just before the restaurant opens, to avoid the wait.

I've been here three times now and the food here is really good, otherwise I wouldn't have come so many times. But still a small comment, I would suggest changing the detergent to an odorless one or washing the dishware more often, every time the food is served it is accompanied by the smell of the detergent which becomes more and more noticeable especially when the food is heated up.

Food was meh, and they don't replace broken chair.

While the server was stir frying our food, one of the meat fell off. He immediately threw the piece back into the plate.

Nasty as hell

I ordered a bottle of rice wine(750ml) for myself. No one told me that taking out the wine is illegal until I paid the bill and tips($120+ for two people). The server said it’s common sense. Excuse me? How would you personally take this as ‘common sense’ and never inform the customers? This is fraud!
