Had a quick stop over at Boston's South Station and was in desperate need of a coffee. Not wanting to go to the nationwide coffee chain that was nearby(SB), I went to Gracenote instead, which was just a few blocks away. What a cute little place! Incredibly nice staff, very prompt service and terrific coffee. You can't ask for anything more! Definitely worth almost missing my bus for.

I did not need an iced cardamom latte, but I did order one, and it was good. Huzzah!

Great little coffee shop! While it would have been nice to have more than one pourover option, the one they had was delicious. There's very little seating - it's clearly grab and go - but it was a nice little treat :)

I can’t get a hold of anyone to change their number
Tiny shop with very limited seating. Loved the cortado and beans I got from here.

My morning ritual starts with their honey lavender latte and a warm almond croissant. They roast beans in small batches - you can smell it from the parking lot. Baristas remember regulars' orders; mine starts when they see my dog tied up outside. The sunny window nook is perfect for people-watching.

Great espresso, stopped here in the afternoon so the machine may have drifted? (might’ve needed to be dialed in again) so it tasted a bit under extracted. I also wish there was some place to sit down and drink coffee at the store. If it’s a take out only coffee shop, it should be classified to coffee window or something similar.

Spent hours trying to figure out the best coffee spots to try while on my trip to Boston. This place came up a lot so I decided to give it a try.
I have to say it definitely does the job of waking you up. I was just kind of bummed out at the choices of coffee. As someone who likes trying seasonal / specialty there just wasn’t many options. Staff is super friendly and the inside is nicely decorated. It is however really small, feel like it meant more for a grab and go coffee. I don’t remember what drink I got, sorry!!!

Gracenote has great regular coffee and also super creative rotating specials that aren’t too sweet and just enhance the drink as it is. They are really friendly and it’s always nice to go there and chat with them. The miso caramel latte special in the fall/winter is incredible.

Felt very unwelcome when I walked in. It is normal for coffee places to only have one size, but I’ve never in my life been to a place where the only size is a 12 oz. On top of that, it’s $7 for again a 12 oz of coffee. Best part is that they don’t even have any syrups, so it’s not like i’m getting a nice vanilla latte for $7, no i’m getting 90% milk with one shot of burnt espresso in a small cup. They acted way too pompous and rude just to then serve me a drink with horribly burnt espresso shots. Don’t understand the hype of this place

In my search for the kind of excellent, easily available espresso that I found traveling in Italy and Portugal , I have tried many spots in US. Boston has some of the best, and this place is in my top 5 in Boston. Cortado was smooth, flavorful, at correct temperature, and served without delay in spite of a line of customers.
