I am from Baotou. And the founder of this happy lamb is from Baotou. Their hot pot is so authentic!

Wait can be long on busy evenings but food and selection is great. Waiters seem busy running around, which is fine if you don’t need that much service.

Got to this establishment around 50 minutes before closing time to eat for my birthday and I was refused a seat because the kitchen closed was going to close in 20 minutes. Good thing there are 5 other hot pot locations that are walking distance, have better service, and post accurate closing times. Staff was also very rude and unaccommodating

Got there about an hour before closing to be turned away because the kitchen closed in 30 minutes. The staff was extremely rude and the manager refused to provide his name after I asked. Very poor experience and would not recommend eating here among so many other great options in Allston

Went here with some friends a few weeks ago and absolutely LOVED it, everything is at the buffet except the main meats so the vegan in our party had a great time. Also, little to not risk of food waste as you can get only as much as you want. Flushing is very cool and it was a great time

Hot pot, they have variety side dishes for what u can pick and the desserts are so delicious 🤤. The fatty beef is the must try.
Packing on commonwealth is easily catch a 2hrs parking which is my concern the most. Now the show is on.. enjoy it

Do NOT recommend. Staff is RUDE!!We were seated and the waiter took our order. I was ready to go to the buffet but was stopped by the waiter, he told us that we needed to move table because a party of 8 had arrived. I was very dissapointed when I told thst we wanted to stay staff made us leave.

Pretty tasty overall considering the price and AYCE. The peach juice is really good.

I don't know why the door was locked. We and others waited at the door for a long time, but no one was there to entertain us. Won’t be back again!

Honestly their broth and meat is so good I dont care that I have to drive 30 minutes to get here. Their food is top notch. But all the comments about behaving poorly for not tipping 18 percent are true. They did that once to my father when he was treating us to a meal there.

Quick seating and amazing AYCE. At some times the vegetables don’t look so good, coming for lunch is better. The sauce station is great with lots of options, and so is the unlimited drinks. Go with friends to make the price worth it. When I’ve gone with a big group we’ve actually gotten coupons to come back!

Very love this place, usually go here Bi-weekly. But I might have to go less, after heaving meal with my family and we pay and left. Never expect a waiter that did not serve at my table run after us and nagging and demanding for more tips, my mom didn’t give much tips mainly due to she did not feel satisfied with the services that give good tips. At this point I might have to go less after seeing that, very disappointed of what the waiter do and it making me wanting to go there last. My family members also decide to stop coming here after
