Had a fantastic time at Happy Lamb! The weekend dinner price is $35 per person (including taxes), but it’s more affordable on weekdays and even lower for lunch. Totally worth it for the experience!

The staff is incredible! super attentive, quick, and courteous. They’re always on their toes, making sure everything runs smoothly.

The food options are endless! From fresh meats and seafood to a variety of veggies, noodles, and more, there’s something for everyone. The broth selection is impressive, with plenty of choices for both meat lovers and vegetarians.

It’s an all-you-can-eat experience for 90 minutes, so come hungry!!

Went there first time for lunch when I was in boston. It was a good experience so I went there again for dinner. Paid in cash and asked the waiter to check... but ended up confronted by the waiter for not paying tips. Appalled, I said "No, I don't want to pay tips". And he pressed on about tips at least 3 to 4 times in the restaurant. They serve and I should pay tips. I felt like I got caught by a guy forcing me to buy things. He talked as if he was working for free and I just paid for the materials to make the food.

I should have paid with my card and less would have been spoken. Moreover, it's not even the waiter that served me the food who demanded the tips, for whom I would have been more compelled to pay. Even then, one should not be demanding tips upfront to pay even it was the situation.

Food was okay but service was sub-par. Watch out for this hounding waiter who pops out of the blue demanding tips.

I’ve always really liked the food and experience here but got food poisoning from the mussels and would recommend avoiding them

This was a great deal for fresh all you can eat hot pot! We tried it on a whim while trying to get out of the cold in Chinatown. The lunch special was under $25 and included a small variety of meats and broth(s) of your choice. Then all the vegetables, noodles, add ins, condiments, and even drinks are self-serve and included in the price. I greatly preferred doing it this way rather than needing to flag down a server for refills or to order more food. I also loved the setup of the “buffet” for ingredients. It was more like shopping in a produce section of a store rather than digging stuff out of a row of pans. Everything stayed separate and tidy even though the restaurant was pretty full while we were there. They also had a variety of free vegetarian proteins so I think the price would be justified even if someone did not want to eat the included meats. We ordered three meats and the half and half (reg/spicy)broth. Split between the two of us it was more than enough, so we didn’t need service at all once we started, but the waiter who set us up was very nice and our bill arrived promptly when we were finished. Highly recommend. Especially for the lunch time price.

Vegetarian options: Lots of different varieties of vegetables, mushrooms, noodles, tofu in several different forms - all included in the price.

The all.you.can eat aspect of it was wonderful, that left us plenty of time to chat, eat, eat some more and indulge in all the goodies they have for dunking into the soup.
The combo of lotus root and fish tofu was killer. Try the sour broth, it's refreshingly zesty.

Great all you can eat hot pot place in Chinatown. Staff are friendly. More space compared to the Cambridge location. The only downside is parking is hard, like all other restaurants in Chinatown.

Site to avoid. Terrible service. They served us with an hour and a half left before closing and they were kicking us out before serving us the food. All the time he was on top of the last call, taking out the account without having finished, and on top of that expensive...very bad. Decent food but much better other options in the area.

Have you ever seen someone ask you to wait outside for a spot? All these people in the room are just asking us to wait outside for text messages, which is racist and uncivilized,Every time I come, I have a good experience, but today the person who doesn't know anything made the experience feel terrible.
