I love the matcha mango smoothie and the waffle they are crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, and the workers are really nice, it is also a great location and the it is a really nice environment.

Good customer service, clean place good options I had never had a hot boba milk tea and it was delicious

Super kind and fast very amazing customer service. The inside is nice there are games to play and separate tables and a crane game

Decided to give them a try and ordered through doordash. Got there early & played the games they have to pass time. I went up for my drinks at the designated pick up time. There was no order in sight and the workers were in the back for some time. He said next time I should inform someone I'm there so the drinks are ready. Ummm as the employee you can see the orders coming in and when they should be ready by. It's not like they were busy at the time. He ended up rushing our drinks and they all came out bland. What a waste of money

I’ve been to this location a few times. I love bubble tea. The staff is really nice and the waffles are a great treat. My favorite bubble tea is the dark brown sugar boba.

I went for a Matcha 🍵 today and I loved the place and everything, and the Asian worker there did his best and his service was excellent, but he was the only one there working alone, and he had to take orders for about 20 people in the store at the same time. Maybe that’s a lot of pressure and he should have at least one other coworker there to help out :)

I literally ordered a brown sugar drink or uber and I received the nastiest drink ever. It’s not even light like it normally is other places. I don’t know if it’s because I did uber eats but it highly upset I wasted my money.

Happy Lemon is a chain of boba tea shops across the US, with this being one of two current ones located in the Boston area.

We came here and the place was empty, which wasn't that weird as it was a holiday that day. The staff were quick with service and friendly.

We tried the matcha mango smoothie and the mango green tea. Both were very sweet, a bit overwhelmingly sweet. The matcha mango didn't really taste like matcha at all, and it was a bit of a letdown. We also tried the egg waffles, which were good and tasty, though pretty generic and average.

Happy Lemon is delicious and have a great environment, I would definitely recommend coming here with your friends!

I stopped in for my first visit to Happy Lemon 🍋 in Jamaica Plain and was pleasantly surprised! Jason, the owner, was at the front counter and took time to learn what our preferences were for tea or fruit flavors. He’s very personable and explained the top favorites for milk teas which is what we wanted. We decided on Milk Tea with Oreo, “puff” cream and boba. What a creation! 🧋

We sampled puff cream first- it’s thick similar to pudding but salty more than sweet. Jason describes it as “tasty”. Having lived in Japan for 2 1/2 years, I found this to be a sweet spot! I felt like I was back in Tokyo. Jason explained that he originally got the idea in Taiwan where he experienced Happy Lemon for his first time. He decided that Boston needed Happy Lemon and the rest is history.

Congratulations to him as he has already opened up his second location, which is the one we visited.

The waffle smell was incredible so we ordered a vanilla bubble waffle to share, and that was the most fun one can have as each “bubble” tears off easily and deliciously.
