Food is good, regular coffee cost the same as DD's, a little slow but good luck finding another place nearby.

It takes a good 5-10 minutes to put in an order and then even longer for the order to come out. The people who work there randomly leave or start cleaning and doing other things while customers are waiting.

Totally adequate for what it is! My $18 cocktail tasted like a lightly pickled cucumber, which might win awards with some, but isn't my new favorite thing (it's called "90s Girl" for anyone who might want to try it or avoid it). It felt a little sneaky to ask if we wanted water and then charge $7 for a bottle of it. Otherwise, though, the service was good. Did not sample a lot of the food: had a salad I enjoyed but would not return for; and my kiddo appreciated the interactive kid menu--standard coloring, tic-tac-toe, word scrambles, with crayons-- and although she said the cheese pizza was pretty skimpy on the cheese and sauce, I appreciated that it came with carrots, fruit, and a kid cup.

Atmosphere much improved since our last visit. The service was outstanding. I got the small farmers salad with salmon...lots of arugula with few toppings, but the salmon was great. Service was exceptional, and I would recommend waterline to friends.

W has a large family celebration and chose the Waterline based on the location and the details listed on Open Table, specifically that parking was available and validated for those arriving with a toddler and an infant. We called while driving there in the turnpike to verify the address for parking. You can't reach the restaurant directly but the woman at the hotel front desk told us that parking was not validated for this restaurant and advised us to park at the aquarium to save ourselves from paying extremely high hourly rates at the Marriott. That was the only problem we had with our experience. The staff were all welcoming and accommodating and the food, the ambiance, and the service were all very good. When we were paying our bill, I mentioned the confusion about the parking validation and he asked if he could bring our parking ticket to his manager. She came out to speak with us and apologized for the misinformation we received She couldn't validate the parking for the other garage but managed to give us a discount. Based on the positive aspects of our visit would definitely consider returning to the restaurant if we go into Boston again.

we were on vacation and took the ferry from Salem to Boston, so this was a convenient stop for breakfast before heading out for a Whale tour. The buffet was fine, but the waiter should also recommend that they have a menu. The place was very nice and clean

Foamless and blandest cappuccino ever. Next time just instant coffee will do the job without spending six bucks.

4 of us dined on 3 modest appetizer dishes and 2 drinks; bill was >$200. Noise level very high. Servers were kind but service slow. If staying at hotel it is convenient but not a standalone destination

The food is always good at this restaurant. The only thing we can really complain about is the price of their wines. It is typical for restaurants to charge 2-3 times the price of what you would pay at the store. We were shocked to see how much some of their wines were. A bottle of Alamo that usually goes for under $10 at the store was priced at $62. Their markup is at least 4 to 5 times on most bottles on their wine menu, sometimes more. We decided to skip the wine and we opted for a special sangria, which was really good.

service even though place was busy, was excellent..staff very professional. Food presentation was outstanding..as was the food(scallops and chicken dishes). Boston cream pie was a hit! No reason not to return!!!

I was attending a special weekend event so the hotel severely restricted their usual menu. My companion's burger fell apart and was tiny, my chicken sandwich was miniscule ( these were supposedly main courses. Next night I had salmon which was a bit better. No vegetables offered at all. Definitely below usual Marriott Standard.

I was attending a weekend special event at this hotel. They shrunk the menu and the food I was served was substantially below what I usually have come to expect from Marriott. I was very disappointed.

I am pretty sure our waiter's name was Kenny; he was attentive, and quick. My wife's burger was classic Marriott fare as was my chicken sandwich. Our calamari was fantastic!
