Second time visiting Boston and saw the positive reviews about Harborside Inn and the compliments were completely justified! I arrived after midnight, called in advance to let them know and didn't check in until after midnight, almost 1am. Haley at the front was very welcoming, friendly, and gave me two bottles of Prosecco! What really was really surprising and made my trip very memorable is I booked a windowless room and was very pleasantly surprised that I got upgraded to the window rooms and even more so with the view I was hoping for if I booked the windowsill room! What a beautiful view! Thank you to all the fantastic staff who put in so much great work for the guests. Only issue was there was an unusual smell that I smelled on the elevators and in the lobby thar didn't go away through my trip and the walls were a but too think as I could fully hear the kids and family next to me, but other than that 5/5 highly recommend!! Perfect location and very conventional as the Aquarium T station is right out front!!
This boutique side street hotel is my favorite in all of Boston. The service is exceptional. The inside cabin rooms are quiet and I sleep like a baby. The location is remarkable as it’s right next to Quincy market, walking distance from the north end and the subway entrance is outside the front door. I can’t think of one thing wrong with this location.
I called just to asked a few questions about the hotel and was very polite, the woman who works overnight from 27-28 of December was VERY unprofessional. It was a super unpleasant and unwelcoming situation which was no way to treat a potential guest. Please do batter!
I stayed here lastnight due to being in town for a Bruins game ,the location is great ,steps to Fanuiel Hall, very quiet ,nice big walk in shower . Bed was uncomfortable ,very soft ,no support and window in room just has view of hallway inside hotel .7/11 right next to hotel if you need anything .
No complaints, staff is friendly and helpful, an easy check in and out process. Room service is by request.
The location is definitely the best part! Walked to the guided tours we had and took the T nearby to anywhere out of walking distance.
We liked its proximity to the Fanuel hall and Quincy market. The lobby & bar area were decorated beautifully for Christmas. The beds were NOT plush. They were hard and very flat. The luggage trolleys had NO hooks for bags which we had plenty of traveling at Christmas. I was told by hotel staff when I booked to request a bathtub since that’s what we preferred but upon check-in was told they have no 2 queen bedrooms with tubs- So we felt lied to in order to get our business. Also there were NO Keurig or coffee pots in the rooms. We likely won’t be back to stay here. The room was clean & very quiet though which we did appreciate. Also the bar didnt have any warm cocktails such as mulled wine or hot buttered rum- not even a cold peppermint martini this time of year! BOO!
The hotel was clean and the bathroom was updated but the rest of the hotel seems like a blast from the past.
Room and bathrooms are very small
No windows to the outside
I spent a very relaxing few days at the Harborside Inn. The accommodations, atmosphere and staff were tremendous. Fantastic location and discounts thru affiliations with local establishments made for a great priced stay in Boston. I look forward to a return trip.
Cheap, clean, good service, basic hotel

Harborside Inn was very well situated and just minutes walk from the Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall. Right outside the hotel is also the Aquarium subway station which provides connectivity to the airport.
The room was very spacious and comes with the necessary amenities. Bed was comfortable and everything was alright during our stay.
The staff here were very courteous with good manners. The price point is of decent value, not too expensive nor cheap, considering this is Boston where the accommodations are generally on the more expensive side.
This is a recommended hotel to explore Boston as it is central to a lot of attractions nearby and provide direct connectivity to the airport.
I love this hotel. Easy check in/out and friendly staff. The room was spacious and clean. It was wonderfully dark at night since there are no windows.
The bathroom was clean, and the water pressure was strong. I had good vacation hair for the entirety of the stay.
There is a drop off in front of the building, which is perfect for Uber, but we parked in the recommended garage first. It was more convenient for us so we didn’t have to fight traffic to get back to the garage, which is a 5 minute walk away. Parking was reasonably priced with a slight discount if you park in their recommended garage.
It’s very close, less than a 5 minute walk, to the Quincy Market, the aquarium, and Duck tours. It’s a a 15 minute walk to Boston Common and the Paul Revere House. There’s also a train station a few yards from the hotel.
I would happily stay here again.
Great hotel near the harbor. The staff is friendly. The room was clean. They accommodated our request to check in early and we're very helpful.
The location is great, near the North End and metro station. We booked an atrium room which was surprisingly spacious, with an equally large bathroom. Compared to other hotels in the area, this hotel is a deal!
Good location , good people , very old not bad room.
