Definitely doesn't feel clean in there. Kind of smells. The bathroom is a tiny closet turned bathroom with no window. Food was ok. Yeah we stayed because we had an appointment at the hospital and were starving after driving 3 hours.

OK, have we been going to this place for a decade or so, yes? In fact, longer. We used to live down the street and we would walk in and grab some drinks, and a bit of food. This time it felt a bit ā¦Different. They were out of a couple things, hey, it happens. Of course, the game is on, the game needs to be on! And Iām happy that they were able to substitute the heirloom tomato salad Burrata and just give me heirloom tomatoes on my salad, except they were sort ofā¦ Tasteless. I was really looking forward to some tomatoes. Especially heirloom tomatoes. I guess thatās my big complaint; the tomatoes really didnāt taste like anything. I was happy that they substituted them at no price difference instead of the croutons, but I donāt knowā¦ heirloom tomatoes shouldā¦ Taste like something. These were waxy imposters! Although Iām sure they were actual tomatoes. Thatās just hyperbole.
Also, it tasted like my glass of wine maybe had been in a bottle that had been open for a while. I also had them substitute Mezcal in one of the cocktails, but it didnāt taste really smoky, like a Mezcal cocktail should. Although they were totally good- natured about it. We both ordered a tequila cocktail and I substituted Mezcal and my partner substituted rum, so I know we looked super high- maintenance, although weāre really just not.
Overall, a mixed experience. The cocktails seemed a bland. The tomatoes seemed really really bland, and overall, I donāt knowā¦ It just feltā¦ bland. I guess thatās the word of the day.ā¦ Bland.
Iāll be back, Iāll review it again.
Note: I know everything feels different when you havenāt visited in five years or so, but I remember having my first raspberry lime Ricky here, and something about it this time seemed a bit darker in terms of atmosphere, a little bit less fun in terms of the menuā¦It just wasnāt a great visit this time. Three out of five stars. It wasnāt terrible, but it certainly was not great. We will be back again soon and I will update the review! Iām thinking it all hangs on the tomatoes frankly!

This place is a hidden gem! The atmosphere, the food and service was professional and phenomenal. The food is fresh and cooked to perfection! I would highly recommend this place! Mike was super nice and engaging as well!

The wife and I wanted to try this place but couldn't get service to save our lives. The place was dead as it was between meals when we went. Server passed our table no less then 4 times. We asked the hostess for service and she told to hold on and didn't tell the server. The Mrs. stood and started at the server and still nothing. The server was just just standing around talking to another server and the hostess and folding napkins. OK so we walked out and down to a great meal at Anna's Taquera. Great burritos. I highly recommend Anna's. I guess I'll never know what the French Dip is like at HG but I know I probably saved myself some terrible service and about $50-$60.

Delicious burger, had dinner to go for my friend at Mass General
Over rated for sure. One member of our family ordered a Reuben and itās was very well toasted, meat was horribly chew and lacking in Russian dressing. Possibly one of the worst Reubens in a long time. Also ordered bolognese- tasty but no salad or bread with the meal, and not a red sauce. Was it an off day? No idea, but not worth the price.

We ordered truffle fries, a prosciutto pizza, and rigatoni bolognese. Everything was incredibly tasty, and the service was just as good. Highly recommended!

What a great place! Never had to wait for a table, though bar seats can fill up. They make such a good pizza, service is friendly, and I used to be obsessed with their BDD caramel apple fritter sundae (which I donāt think they offer anymore but I dug up an old pic for reference)
