Went there on a Sat night around 6 pm and were seated right away. Good food. Service was a little slow. Live entertainment was setting up just as we were leaving.
Parking: There is a free lot, but if the restaurant is crowded, the lot will be over flowing.

Have had 2 great meals at this place so far, one lunch and one dinner. Starters, salads, pizzas all really good - taco appetizer and the ragu were the two dishes that made me say "Whoa!" When we went for dinner they had live music and you could still hold a conversation while the musician was playing. Easy to get to, huge parking lot by Boston standards. They're open REAL late and I believe the kitchen is, too, which is an option I'm quite happy to have post-COVID.

Tim was our server and he was great! Tim was attentive and knowledgeable...the food and drink were very yummy, we shared some apps, pizza and salad, everything was fresh and flavorful! The house rolls are amazing!! Give this place a try!!

The bread was phenomenal and we really liked the fries, but my food came out on a cold plate and my food was all cold as well. They were setting up live music but didn’t start while we were there for an hour. Drinks were good.

Great new neighborhood spot. Service is super friendly and food is awesome as well. The restaurant itself is very roomy, but is a bit bare and doesn't match the welcoming vibe. They should defiantly add some local flare, as it's just bare brick will with question 5 posters. Beyond that I loved everything. Will 100 percent be coming back and recommend giving the place a try
Focaccia bread- free of change. Nice to see some places still do free bread. This bread was awesome with some nice herbal flavor on the bread and a nice sweet butter to pair with it 5/5 Chicken tenders Nice and crispy and has some light seasoning. Chicken was good quality Exactly what you expect from good tenders 4/5 Truffle Mac and cheese Great truffle flavor and very cheesy. This Mac and cheese was awesome. 5/5 Bar steak Perfectly cooked steak. Came with blue cheese butter and some crispy truffle fries, which were also good 4/5

Food is pretty good. And about on par price wise with other restaurants near by. Drinks are great. Staff is friendly. Quiet, intimate atmosphere. Great for a date night, or the choice spot when dining out with family. One of the few places in allston with parking. And it's easy to get to from the highway. Perfect place to meet someone who is unfamiliar with the city

A couple weeks ago I ordered the Black Sea Bass special and after eating some of it, I saw that the inner meat was pink and so raw it was still clinging strongly to the bone. I politely showed the waiter, who took it back to the kitchen and confirmed with the chefs that it was underdone and also not gutted properly. I expected a comp for the raw fish but it was not offered, but since I ate some of it, I let it slide. I want to see new business succeed, and the scallops and mac and cheese were so good I chalked it up to one mistake. No problem
Last night I came back with a group and ordered some things including a truffle fry. The waiter brought us two orders of fries instead of one, and without touching or eating any of it, I sent it back. He said I ordered two but I definitely ordered just one. But he politely took it away and told me “all good.” He also completely forgot about an order of deviled eggs which never came out.
Then I got billed for two truffle fries, including the one I did not order and made sure not to touch. That irritates me because I was also billed for the pink raw and ungutted fish last visit.
In three visits I have been served raw and improperly gutted fish, billed for items I never ordered, had whole items forgotten about, and never offered a comp or refund. I love the food and love to support small businesses but I cannot recommend this place because of the poor service. The scallops are amazing.

I had been curious about this place since it opened, and now that I’ve gone I will not return. My friends and I came for what was supposed to be a quick lunch, and nothing during our experience was great. The server took a while to come over and greet us, and as soon as she arrived at the table asked if we were ready to order with barely even a hello. The restaurant feels like a front for money laundering or something because it looks so empty. There are no decorations on the walls besides the No on question 5 displays, which are also weirdly on the servers uniforms. Our food took a long time despite the restaurant not being busy, and when it came out it was oily, salty, and overall something that we all could have made better at home. I am always willing to give new places a chance, but I will not being giving this place a second one.
