Ice cream was good, but not many flavors were offered and after tax it was like $8 for a kids cone with sprinkles- just a bit pricey.
They only accept cash and venmo which is a bit inconvenient, but it is clearly posted all over so it's not like they don't warn you until it's time to pay. Staff is nice and quick.

The hood bottle is beautifully repainted and open for the 2025 season!
I was SO excited to come across the hood bottle on my last day visiting Boston and learn that it had re-opened the same day! Super delicious ice cream, and they do not hold back on the toppings.
Highly recommend getting in line for a cone or cup at this iconic place.

What is amazing landmark in the middle of Boston! This is right by the children's museum and the Boston tea party museum. Of course it's pricey because of the location but it's definitely a novelty. Make sure you have cash because they only deal in cash or Venmo. The Italian ice was yummy as it melted.
