I havent even left the establishment and couldn’t wait to write a review lol is this my age showing!? Anyways, we’re here for their valentine event and overall I’d say it’s a 3.5 overall.

Starting with the food. Starters Got the crab Rangoon deconstructed, 5/5 on flavor, but they give you like 2.5 chips lol my bf got the tuna crudo and didn’t love it, it felt heavy and dark? The tuna could’ve been cut thinner and the soy sauce just made it feel too heavy?
Entree - I got the salmon and he got the lobster ravioli. My salmon was lovely, but the polente cake!? Seasoning were no where to be found! It added nothing. Maybe try mashed potatoes? Dessert for the crème brûlée flights. Loved those.

Service? They were very nice and were willing to accommodate anything you didn’t like, but I felt that the room wasn’t busy enough for the wait time it took for water, the check, and the to go box/bag.

And lately, speaking of to go box. The table next to me had their food bagged for them by the kitchen, and while I don’t mind packing my own food, but there should be consistency across the board for the services provided. If the kitchen bags the food, that should be the case for every customer.

This is my first time here, will I be back? Maybe, since the offered menu was pre fixed I’d be interested to try other things on the menu. Was it memorable? Not really

The vibes are cute tho! DJ + violinist did their thing

I will start by saying the drinks are fantastic. We tried a few different cocktails and martinis. The also offer mini martini size which helps when you want to try a couple of different ones. Hue seems to be more of a drinks and elevated apps type place than an actual dinner restaurant. We had oysters, several appetizers and a flatbread pizza. Everything was delicious and I liked that things were not brought out all at once - the table would have been too small otherwise, and it gave us a chance to enjoy each individual appetizer. We were quite full without ordering entrees. I would definitely recommend Hue to anyone looking for this type of experience.

This place is a sparkling diamond, buried in Boston’s brutal winter. Spotted Hugo Gonzalez there too. But only briefly.

My friend and I were denied entry because I was wearing UGG slipper boots—even though it was snowing and I was otherwise dressed appropriately. The dress code doesn’t mention boots anywhere, online or at the venue. Meanwhile, the guy right behind us was let in wearing a hoodie, jeans, and sneakers. When I pointed this out, security just repeated that they have a “strict dress code” and said I was too casual, with no explanation for the inconsistency.

We didn’t feel like arguing to get into a small venue, but I wanted to share the experience. I’ve been here before for a business-related event and wasn’t impressed then either—the venue is very small with limited seating, drinks are expensive and just okay, and the food wasn’t great. Unfortunately, I have to give it a one star review. I also never even write reviews either so—

PS to all women don’t wear boots even though other people would just sneakers and a hoodie can get in, and it’s 0-20 degrees out and snowing. We must wear heels and heeled boots only! 😂

The food was great, small menu. Ordered a little of everything, delicious. The lighting was perfect. The DJ played a great playlist ! Would definitely go again.

We went to Hue for the girl dinner special and it did not disappoint! Our server Alex made fantastic drinks and was very attentive. The Cesar salad was dressed a little too heavy for my liking but the Parmesan crisp was excellent and the fries were crispy. Highly recommend for a fun girls night out!

Hue is honestly one of the best nightlife spots in the city — especially if you’re looking for that upscale lounge vibe without the pretentious energy. The atmosphere reflects that in the best way: stylish, confident, and full of personality.

The aesthetic inside is beautiful. They put real effort into the lighting, layout, and overall vibe — it pairs perfectly with the beautiful people who go there. The place just feels alive.

A big shoutout to Tai, the nightlife manager. Every time I’m there, he takes care of me no matter how busy the place gets. Friendly, attentive, and just solid energy all around. When someone like that is running the room, you feel it in the entire experience.

If you’re looking for a place with good music, good people, and a clean, well-put-together vibe — this is it.
10/10 would visit again.

Very disappointed in the empanadas. The best thing was the drinks. Don't bring your own Birthday cake, they charge YOU $3 per slice to cut it for you. My bill was $25 and that was only a drink.

The food and drinks are good and the vibe is nice! The DJs they've been bringing aren't the best. For a Black-owned spot, the music doesn't really cater to a Black crowd. I even tried requesting some songs and got shot down. The music used to be for us, but not anymore. I've been here for NYE and today, and the music just didn't make you want to dance. This place is off my list for out-of-town guests or for me to go to anymore.

The Hue was cold temperature wise, making the dinner uncomfortable. The food was decent. Limited vegetable options. Atmosphere was sterile and very dark, like being in a cave. Will return to the bar upstairs, though.
