The menu features southern comfort food, making it a charming spot. Dishes like gumbo are highly praised—rich, flavorful, and comparable to those in New Orleans. The small restaurant can be busy, especially during weekends, but weekdays offer easier seating. The entertainment is amazing, with live bands rocking! The skillet-cooked cornbread with corn inside and honey butter on top is delicious. The chicken sandwich with fries and a side of greens is very tasty, and the greens are spicy but flavorful. Fried chicken with greens and coleslaw, as well as chicken and dumplings, are also available. Food is 10/10! Everything is good! The biggest issue is that it can be SO LOUD, making it hard to understand others at times. Parking remains a challenge, so a ride is recommended if possible. Overall, it’s a fun and flavorful place to enjoy southern comfort food with great live entertainment and friendly service.
