awful bouncer. awful bartenders. awful manager. don’t come here.
My partner and I just moved to the neighborhood and this was the first pub we checked out. Bartenders were very friendly and helpful, and the crowd was very friendly. Music was great as well as the ambiance. We will be back

Loved the live music, the artist was working and talented. But totally annoyed by the behavior of the bartender, he was rude throughout. Totally spoiled our mood nevertheless when we decided not to tip him he insulted us and forced us to tip him. Such behavior is unacceptable and rude.
Be aware of the bartender while visiting the pub.

The place offers live music and that is the only good thing we found.
The bartender behaved really rude when one of my friends tried to take a picture of him pouring a cocktail.
Basically no food so you have to bring your own food from outside.
Certainly not going back!

The Irish Village is a great neighborhood pub to catch live music, watch sporting events, and enjoy one of the best pints of Guinness in the city

Best spot in Brighton/Allston area for Perfectly balanced Irish pub with live music, very lively but never too busy. Friendly crowd and bar tenders. Two rooms which both have different atmospheres.
They were the only place still open after leaving a concert at the roadrunner... Live music, darts, surprisingly plenty of seating for a small place. Excellent service (which was even more surprising because it was packed on the Saturday night I was there) great options for drinks, good prices. Clean bathrooms. Fun, friendly, 10/10 would go there again
