Awesome food, service and environment. It’s a family run business which shows in how much they care about the customer. The food was excellent and serving sizes, especially on the chicken tenders, are massive. They also have the best Guinness in Boston

We used to love this place, but there is no bouncer anymore and no one checking IDs at the bar either, so we’ve seen more and more young kids each time we go. Tonight it was packed with clearly underaged kids. The atmosphere has completely changed, do not recommend going anymore.

Classic Boston Irish pub, two sided so lots of bar area. Seating includes booths and tables but if you go later in the evening it is packed and people standing everywhere. Crowd on a Saturday night skewed young but okay mix of ages. Decent selection of beer, very professional bar tenders.
I was charged a higher price than what was clearly listed on the menu.
No one informed me of any additional charges before I ordered or before I paid. After I noticed the discrepancy and called the restaurant, the owner explained that the reason was written on the receipt after payment, and mentioned that paying with cash would be cheaper.
I find this practice misleading. A menu should reflect the actual price customers are expected to pay, or at least clearly disclose any additional fees upfront. Information provided only after payment does not give customers a real choice.
The owner said it was too busy to explain this to every customer. If that is the case, then this information should be clearly stated on the menu or communicated before ordering — not afterward.
In addition, my friend ordered a fried seafood dish, but most of it was unexpectedly soft and soggy, almost as if it had just been taken out of water. Out of the entire plate, only one or two pieces were actually crispy. This did not match expectations for a fried dish.
I’m leaving this review so future customers can be aware and decide for themselves.

Classic, quintessential Boston Irish pub. No bro-ey vibe here. Staff wear starched shirts and a smile. Smithwicks and Guinness on tap, never misses.

Visited this bar by random chance in 2019, we were hungry and looking for food. Stumbled in, got great service and an awesome experience in a classic bar. Wife reminded me of that date and had to come back to say something nice here, thanks!

Great historic feel. Just have it in the back of your head that manu younger people go there and hog up the bars. On the night I went there was 1 bartender working at each bar. As you can imagine this made getting a drink very slow and took a while. (The bartenders were working their tails off) They should have had 2 per bar but those were the cards dealt that night. They do have seating to eat. I would recommend going earlier in the day or on an off night because for groups in their mid 30's and older, it wasn't the scene we were in any longer.

Terrible experience to say the least. From being ignored by staff… too the point of taking matters into our own hands to get a table. To then the staff totally changing tune once they heard we were ordering food. That was the first thing that turned me off.
Half way through our meal the restaurant turned into a PACKED bar, which is awesome if the business is prepared. They were not prepared. There was no one standing at the door controlling the amount of people that entered. It ended up taking us over an hour to close a tab.
This is sad for me because we live this place and bring people who come to visit from out of town.
They just need to get their shit together if they are expecting this many people

Ok spot. Definitely not the best Guinness pour in Boston. I was very disappointed with it. The head of the beer was barely creamy. Just good but did not meet the very high expectations that were set by the news and social media.
I was really looking forward to visiting this place because it’s known as a Miami Dolphins bar, but the experience was beyond disappointing. The staff was extremely rude from the moment I walked in no greeting, no basic courtesy, and zero enthusiasm despite it being game day. You’d expect a fun, welcoming vibe for Dolphins fans, but instead it felt like I were bothering them just by showing up.
I came ready to eat, drink, and cheer, but kicked for having a bottled soda. I was on a tour and I’m a tourist. Definitely not the kind of hospitality you expect from a place representing Miami pride. There are plenty of other spots that treat fans and paying customers with respect. Never again.
