I guess I’m just an annoying Beacon hill woman who has nothing better to do than write reviews, but the service here absolutely blows my mind. Ashley, the purported manager hung up on me when I called in to tell her that my DoorDash order was wrong. She said if I wanted to place an order and get it “the right way” that I should just come in myself and get it. “ if you don’t want issues with your order then maybe just come in yourself and get it, thanks!” And then she hung up on me. I’m not even mad because I genuinely just feel so bad for where this girl’s life is going to end up. I’m embarrassed for her. They definitely have the mentality that any DoorDash orders can just be whatever they want them to be. They didn’t send me half my order and the remainder of the order they messed up.
I can only guess that the reason the line is at the door is because the staff is untrained. At minimum, maybe just be nice to your customers? Just a thought.

This African American lady was serving me and my family. EXTREMELY RUDE, every time we tried to tell her anything she mumbled under her nose like “speak up” and after 3rd time she just started putting her finger on her ear to showing us that she doesn’t even want to be here. After I ordered an ice cream she just left us to serve other people.

It says on the front door “Boston’s Best Hot Chocolate” so we got in to get hot chocolate. It was really not worth it (powder chocolate with milk) and hence I consider the sign misleading.

Pistachio is terrible, it is far from a real gelato. Big scoops, but mediocre quality
Was there yesterday with 5 children. The two employees were absolutely amazing. I wish I had gotten their names so I can give them a shout out. They were incredibly patient with the ordering process and were very accommodating for the child with a nut allergy. The ice cream flavors were delicious. Highly recommend the frappe! Ty for an awesome time.

JP Licks is great. Consistently good ice cream, yogurt, pastries and other treats, and lots of options for vegan and gluten free that are clearly labeled.
Vegetarian options: I mean it's ice cream, so there's no meat 🤣
