I have visited this shop twice as a tourist, once in spring 2021 & once in fall 2024, and both times I ordered the coffee ice cream. In my opinion no one does Coffee flavored ice cream better than J.P. Licks. Best of all it does not include chocolate in the mix, so the only ingredient you can taste is coffee.

It's nice that it comes in a plastic container so it's easy to eat and you don't have to worry about the paper cup container getting soggy haha.

This location is the best one in Boston. Every time I go the staff is super attentive, quick and friendly. I am always especially happy when Riley is there, as this employee is always super polite, cheerful and kind. This location is always 10/10 and I make sure to visit this one when we go out for food on Newbury.
