Charming old school beer hall. Sadly, it was damaged in 2018 due to a fire upstairs, and never re-opened. As of early 2019, the building appears to be for sale, so it looks like the closure may end up being permanent. :-(
German Grill was really good...one of the best brats I've ever had! Paired with the Jack's Dark (or two ðŸ˜) was a good meal. German potato salad was a bit lacking...not much more than boiled, partially mashed potatoes. Cabbage and kraut were tasty. Quick walk from my hotel (~5 minutes) and was the best option outside of Chinatown. Suum Cuique indeed, but I'm good with Jacob Wirth"s!
Fantastic restaurant. Always a good meal and superb service. Meal was out less than 15 minutes after ordering. Fantastic place for a quick bite and beer before a show. Beer selection is huge. The environment and culture of this place is one-of-a-kind.
