Jibei Chuan is the BEST rice noodle restaurant I've tried in Boston! Their flavors are authentic, the soup & broths are extremely flavorful, the rice noodles are plentiful per order for an equal ratio of rice noodle : toppings/broth, the toppings are diverse, the deserts are rich and authentic, and the prices are FAIR. Other rice noodle places charge around $15-$20 per bowl with minimal noodles, but Jibei Chuan gives you plenty of bulk for your buck (around $10-$15)!
The rice noodles in tomato soup and the rice noodles in MaLa soup are must-tries and the Hong Kong French Toast is a NECESSITY if you come!
The atmosphere is spacious and the staff are very friendly. The service is quick (around 5-10 minutes). 10/10!

My friend and I passed by this restaurant over the weekend and were drawn in by the sign that read “Rice noodle in Supreme fish maw chicken soup,” so we went in to give it a try. This was my first time trying fish maw—I’m not sure if it’s consumed in other cultures, but in southern Chinese culinary traditions, fish maw is considered a delicacy.
Fish maw is the dried swim bladder of a fish, a delicacy particularly popular in Asian cuisine, especially in soups and stews. It is a good source of collagen, protein, and other nutrients. It’s known for its spongy texture and ability to absorb flavors, making it a versatile ingredient.
A very special experience—highly recommended!

Came here spontaneously on a Saturday around 1pm and there were only three tables occupied. The two of us ordered the Minced Meat Dried Rice Noodles and Mini Soup Dumplings. The noodles came out not too long after and were exactly what I was craving. It had a little bit of spice but you could still appreciate the taste without being in too much pain. The soup dumplings came out after and were the perfect texture. Overall I was really satisfied with my meal and would definitely come back.
We ordered with door dash. Food was great. Arrived quickly and hot. Good value.

Don't get dumplings. When we went a while ago, they were clearly some archetype of frozen Costco dumpling.
Other stuff is okay

Skip this place. The food is just okay, but the service is terrible—the waiter acted like the walking dead and refused to acknowledge his own mistakes. There’s a much better noodle/pho spot just 15 yards closer to the Chinatown gate. If you head in the opposite direction, there’s also a Vietnamese pho place on the corner. Most of their good reviews are from 10 months ago—probably boosted by discounts.

1. The rice noodle does not taste good. We got the assorted meat dry noodle. But the noodle was wet and stick together.
2. And we did not get what appears in the picture on the menu, in which the meat are thin sliced and the egg is cut into two halfs. Every thing is randomly chopped and you can feel they do not care.

Picked up order from them today, the supreme chicken fish maw noodle. There are only 3 pieces of chicken breast as shown in the picture. If you want to try how it tastes. Don’t go to this one, it’s not even worth it! Other yuan noodles restaurant are much better and more ingredients.

This place is a gem in Chinatown. The food is great, the service is nice, and the venue has been newly renovated. My colleagues and I love coming here for our work lunches.

Decent broth and beef. Noodles way too soggy. Also two songs playing at once which was annoying.
The crispy fish fillet is pangasius...the tofu is also lactone tofu. In China, it costs only 20 yuan for cheap takeout. But here it costs 20 yuan.
