I rarely (never?) write negative reviews but the service here was so bad I want to spare you the miserable experience I just had. The woman tending the counter was terrible. I ordered a cone and when she gave me a cup, I politely reminded her I had asked for a cone and asked if she wouldn't mind changing it for me. She gave me a look and then shoved a cone on top, but I was holding my baby so asked again if she could please give me the ice cream in a cone? She made the most dramatic face, proceeded to basically spoon the ice cream out onto the counter, then sighed loudly and scooped out approximately two tablespoons of a new ice cream on a cone. Completely unprofessional, and not very family friendly! The ice cream was also terrible, but it was nice out and the place is conveniently located so that alone wouldn't have merited the time it took me to writ a negative review...

Your typical icecream place I guess..Rated a 4 because it was clean, you could sit down, tables were clean, plenty of lighting inside and out, and priced correctly, meaning reasonable

if you want Hood iccream that has freezer burn then go here. Yes it is literally Hood. I saw the big bucket lable. The service is terrible too and its not cheap

Just stopped in for ice cream. It is a small place with limited seating. That have a few small quick things on menu. I didn't really look at the prices. Ice cream was good. I got the moose tracks. Good flavor. Ice cream is smooth. The chocolate is blended it so you won't get any big chunks. The portion size is good. The place is a little cluttered due to lack of space. Everything seemed clean. It looks like they are trying to offer as much as possible to stay in business. The two ladies were friendly and quick.

Friendly staff, and a variety of ice cream to choose from. I usually go for the coffee and for the empanadas, they are amazing! This is a Small family owned business, my kids are always excited to go for some ice cream.

Incredibly friendly staff and owner!!! really value the fact that it’s a small minority women owned business. Love the lobster roll and empanadas!!! Ice cream is locally sourced from Rosi which is great.

The hash Brown was undercooked, the bacon was soo crispy and stale you can tell it was from a few days ago, the bread was soggy and not grilled even with the grill marks. It was as if it was a fake grill mark. So I tossed the bacon and the hash brown in the trash and was like I will finish the other half of the egg and cheese sandwich tomorrow for breakfast. Come tomorrow my second bite was a full egg shell it totally ruined my appetite what a waste of $10. I’ve always passed this place to go to Fornax bread and will continue doing so. Pass pass pass!!

I make the mistake of trying Jimmies about once a year and it's always the same-- just so-so. They now serve scooped Breyers ice cream which looked a little sus so I opted for the soft serve. The soft serve was a watery mess. When the cone was handed to me it slid off and down the side. I should have gotten the Breyers-- at the supermarket. The empanadas are deep fried with some off tastes -- maybe old oil?

Jimmie's Cafe is the cutest little spot with amazing food! This is the breakfast sandwich on an English muffin and the two slider combo. Great prices. Fresh food. Kindest service. I highly recommend to anyone in the Roslindale area!
