A bit more expensive than I remember. The food was decent, but not outstanding. Our server was excellent and there was an energetic vibe. Worst thing is no nearby parking. Valet service would be nice. Overall we had a pleasant experience.
The Spicy Beef & Noodles was very good. We were they on a Sunday at 5PM and the restaurant was not crowded.
It was so loud you not think. I felt I was at the children's museum. Why would you sit an older couple upstairs with all children, no elevator no bathrooms.. my husband is handicapped, we thought we going to have a quiet space ... heck no. If you're with a loud group perfect place to go .
I want to give special thanks to our server Mariana. She did such a wonderful job taking care of our table. Please, please give her our special thanks for her great service on Saturday, 11/8 when we were there for brunch. She's just the best!! šāļø Thank you to the Joe's Waterfront manager for paying attention to my special request note when I made the reservation.
We honestly had a terrible experience. Was there with my daughter and her best friend celebrating her birthday. Our server seemed to have forgot that he had our table so we waited about 10 minutes to come greet us and ask if you wanted something to to drink. We asked for bread of which the server never came back and asked another kind woman if she minded grabbing it for us. Our food was terrible. Two of us got the Caesar salad and there was more brown lettuce than there was lettuce probably one of the worst restaurants I've eaten in Boston.
Enjoyed my dining experience. Ordered the seafood platter which was excellent. Staff was friendly.

The staff was very nice. The place had good views. Unfortunately, our food was pretty mediocre, and some of the sides were cold.

I was there on a Saturday for lunch. I live in Maine and came into Boston for the day to meet up with a good friend from out of town. We wandered around the North End and hadnāt really found what we were looking for. We made a plan to go to Boston Salt Loft, but the line was insane. We found ourselves standing outside of Joeās Waterfront and the menu looked good so we went in. It ended up being the perfect experience. We got a table outside in the sun and were taken care of right away. My friend and I both ordered the tuna poke bowl and it was delicious. I ate every bite of it and the portion size was just right. I highly recommend Joeās Waterfront if you want a good meal, good service, and a nice atmosphere. Prices were reasonable I thought too.

The restaurant sits right in the harbor ā gorgeous water views. First night, I tried for dinner. They wanted me to sit at the bar because I was solo. No problem, except that there were no seats at the bar. I ended up finding somewhere else to go, and as I left one girl said, āhave a good oneā then giggled. Sadly, she knew there were no seats but didnāt want me taking up a table.
On a whim, I ended up having brunch there my last day in town. Crab cakes benedict. Very expensive for only enough crab to make one good crab cake. I expected a more robust dish to be honest. The food was tasty and the coffee very good but the service was slow. They were kind at brunch but I donāt think Iād go back.

Sorry to say it but it was very disappointing! I had high expectations and I couldnāt believe how they missed it just with a basic rule for a restaurant. The meal temperature. I ordered a fish and it was very cold. I ordered a clam chowder soup and it was cold so you can imagine. The waitress was very attentive but the food quality not good.

After a visit to the New England Aquarium, we were ready for a great meal. We walked in to a very empty restaurant. The hostess greeted us and asked if we had a reservation. We said no. It then took her five minutes to determine if there was a table. Again, it was at 1/3 capacity downstairs, at the most. Once she found a table, to our surprise we were led upstairs to a huge room with one table being served. We were seats and given menus. We observed, at least five wait staff come in and out and stare and walk away. After 15min a male waiter approached. He took our drink orderā¦..10 minutes later we received the drinks. We ordered food right away when the drinks arrived. We saw two other groups come in, not be waited on so they left. A manager, pictured below, never talked to any customers. He moved tables around and moved chairs. Spent a lot of time watching tv as well. The food was ok. We appreciated not being an exception as all customers were ignored and treated poorly. Iād highly recommend not going. They take customers for granted.
