Table if 6, reservations made 2 weeks previous, Seated in upstairs back room— terrible bright light, no view, so it was hard to pay for the overpriced uninspired food in that ambiance.

Table wobbled and twirled. One drink was made wrong. Service slow. Needed more waiters in dining room.

Two of the meals were COLD, other two very hot. Didn't stand back because we didn't want to wait to have the hot meals reserved

Service was the worst ive had for a long time. Completely mismanaged......all I wanted was a drink, ice tea for that matter. I don't know if it's just this was a new waiter or if it was a management problem but swapping waiters out as we sat down and took 15 minutes to someone recognize that we were actually there then trying to get a drink or refill was completely ridiculous. Waiter said he was working upstairs and downstairs and apologize and all I did was kept apologizing. All I wanted was a drink We went to many restaurants while we were here all over the top phenomenal. Joe's just didn't cut it for us at all. I don't know when I'll be back to Boston. I'm just gonna chalk it up to a bad day. I don't think from all of my travels had a worst experience than this. Luckily someone else brought her food out as I'm sure that would've been missed as well. Then to make it even more awkward, asking what our names were when we got our bill and thinking us for visiting. The whole thing was just weird and uncomfortable. I do apologize about my 15% tip. But if I'm gonna spend $180 on dinner, I want a little bit of service.

Absolutely fantastic. Our favorite meal while in Boston. Service was immaculate even on a busy Friday night. The bread pudding will be something I'll dream about for a long time.

I had clam chowder and the lobster. The chowder was pure cream. It was OK. It was not hot. Lukewarm. But it was good. Not great. Would have liked to have had some kind of texture in it. A lobster roll was also good. I had the warm ones or with butter. My only mild complaint is that they could have put more lobster in it..... otherwise the place is good and I appreciate it. Great service.

We were served food less than 10 minutes of ordering and paid our bill within 45 mins. Never asked if we wanted more drinks and the food tasted as if it was reheated which made sense. You can't cook salmon or a burger in 5 mins.

The food and location were good. Service was poor. Order taking was disorganized, had to ask for napkins, silverware and plates even after the appetizer was already delivered. Entrees took about 45 minutes to get delivered . Even had to wait for children's meal ice cream desert to be delivered. Disappointed with the experience

Made a reservation on a non busy weekday. Arrived and our party was seated. Watched 10+ waiters walk by our table to service others. After 30min of no service we left. Hostess just said "oh"....

Server was good, took a long time to receive our food - only had 2 appetizers. Food was just okay, baguettes were cold/dry.

Wonderful dining experience! The host was exceptionally welcoming and flexible in accommodating our preferred seating arrangement. The service was professional, the food was outstanding, and the waterfront views were unbeatable. I had requested a small gesture for my wife's birthday, and they kindly placed a candle on the dessert cake, making the moment special and memorable. Would love to return again and again!

I've lived in Boston for a number of years and always wanted to visit Joe's. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it for brunch. We ordered a veggie omelette with a side of chicken sausage and chicken and waffles. While the waffle was good, it came with 3 tiny nuggets of chicken. The omelette was cooked well, but both the potatoes and chicken sausage were so overcooked, they couldn't be eaten. It looked like they just forgot them on the grill. Additionally, our server never checked on us to refill or drinks or ask how our food was.

Very good birthday meal, Mac and Cheese was a little watery. Spinach and artichoke dip was great, steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare. Salmon was amazing. Asked for extra ice cream on the skillet cookie, highly recommend. Overall, extremely good, would go again!

Very wonderful experience, hosts were very nice. Nice music from a local artist playing while you eat and look at the water. Beautiful!

I booked a table a bit last minute for an 8:30 reservation on a Monday night. The restaurant in and out was very busy and lively. We were seated I a booth and our server Sophia arrived promptly to introduce herself and get our meal started. Sophia really made our experience very special. She is an excellent server. She was friendly, warm and sincere. I was having dinner with 2 sisters that had not seen in sometime so we were having a lot of conversation. Sophie never interrupted and seemed to magically appear at just the right moment. That is a talented server. The food was good. Very solid in quality and portions. Prices seemed fair for the location. One of my sisters had eaten here before and enjoyed it which is why we dined here. I would recommend this restaurant. Ask to sit in Sophia's section if she's working.
